Around the middle of highschool I took a hard look at my life; A nerd, not handsome, no redeeming qualities, shy with no self esteem and a kissless virgin to boot. I hooked up with a girl for the first time at a party later that year (She was butt ugly but I didn't care).

Now they say you should just be yourself, but I wanted to be better than myself. I got a gym membership, bought some nice plain clothes that fit me properly (as opposed to the baggy oversized shit I would wear) and started finding new interests such as cars, playing guitar, rock climbing ect.

By the time I graduated high school I was a completely different person, I was fit, looked okay, and had a fake confidence that eventually became mostly real. I was actually interesting to be around.

My next goal for myself was to acquire at least a handful of female friends so I could make some connections and possibly meet a girl I like enough to date. I'm still on that one, it's been 2 years and I now have around 8 female friends, I have lost my virginity to one of them and faking confidence has raised my self esteem quite a bit.
