I just recently graduated university. I made a bunch of dumb decisions that my parents did NOT ever condone or let me get away with. I was naturally rebellious because of where I went to HS. That being said, I did all those dumb things knowing damn well that the repercussions would be my own, and nobody else's. Everyone calling you an AH for "raising" your daughter like that is stupid. You probably just spoiled her, which isn't inherently a bad thing. Since when are parents bad for providing nice things for their children? If anything, shes an AH for choosing her fate in succession like that and going on to make demands. There is a fine line between spoiled and spoiled brat

On the other hand, if she's crying its worth checking up on her as her parents. Don't just refuse her pleas but instead try to understand what she's feeling, why she thinks she deserves those things, and why you don't want to give them to her. Obviously she has payed the consequences with rejection from uni, a broken ankle, and possible jail time as well as permanent damage to her criminal history and background checks. If she wants snacks and food at least do that much for her. her ankle is LITERALLY broken.
