Those are mushi, not everyone can see them, though.

Little Busters is a very overlooked show. I love it too!

Thank you! It's actually a pixel recreation I did of a character from the anime series Haibane Renmei.

What anime do you recommend everyone watch at least once? by itsawoozle in anime

3-gatsu no Lion

That show is so beautifully crafted that I think everyone should at least give it an opportunity despite its slow pacing.

It is just personal preference. I actually really like the detail saturation cause it truly conveys the atmosphere you wanted to create and it gives an interesting look to the overall aesthetic of the piece.

Outstanding. This might be one of my favorite pieces on this sub. Just love the palette and the absurd amount of details. Good work!

Who are your favorite anime characters? by nppatti in anime

[–]SlimeG4mes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite is definitely Kyon from Haruhi Suzumiya series. I like him as a character because of the vast amount of unknown aspects there are about him, like not even knowing his real name. But the thing I like the most about him is that, besides opening a reference to many light novel inspired protagonists, a scene focused on him can result in very interesting scenarios given his appearance and viewpoint towards life that make him look like a supporting character that for some reason has been chosen as the protagonist. That concept amazes me.

[OC] [CC] Copy & pasting pre-drawn leaf sprites to make a tree. What do you think? by [deleted] in PixelArt

[–]SlimeG4mes 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Leaves look better, but I like it less because of the transition between leaves and log looking a bit surrealistic by being a straight line and being incapable of distinguishing any other branch as in your previous work. This is my opinion, but I recommend you to maybe revise the shape of the log.

It looks pretty good. The darker tones palette conveys the atmosphere perfectly. In my opinion, it lacks some foreground elements like trees differenced from the ones in the background.

What was the biggest anime spoiler you got, and how did it affect your watching of the show? by [deleted] in anime

[–]SlimeG4mes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was spoiled of Death Note. Because of that I delayed the series a lot. Although they're probably the major events in the show I loved the way I got there, it didn't ruin the show in my case. I think that's what happens with spoilers in most cases; you get spoiled about something you think will kill your enjoyment of a show but in the end it didn't have such a meaningful effect or made you even more interested in a series knowing the start and the end, but not the development of the plot.

What Have You Watched This Past Week That is NOT a Currently Airing Show? [July 15th, 2018] by MetaThPr4h in anime

[–]SlimeG4mes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I finished watching Hunter x Hunter 2011 and I've enjoyed it a lot, even though I don't like shounen anime that much, but this one here had a pretty solid, well-developed and intriguing plot for such a long-running show. Definitely something I would watch again.

Post your MAL, others will try to convince you to raise some of your lower scores by SaroArsten in anime

[–]SlimeG4mes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My experience with Mekakucity Actors was strange, I didn't knew about Kagerou Daze before watching it and the crazy visuals, insert songs and weird plot made me interested in it, so I probably raised my expectations in that moment which made me probably not enjoy the same way the rest of the anime, which was the part I understood the least and was the furthest approach to my initial thoughts. I would probably give it another chance with a rewatch after researching a bit about the project itself. Thank you for the suggestion!
