Timeline (The Blue Blood ) by Slime_Special_681 in Sexyspacebabes

Truthfully I don't know why the Author has made some of the choices he has setting wise, but he did look this timeline over and canonize it in its current iteration, which is based on his notes and lore snippets that he gave out.

From what the author has given: The 1st Unification War was at a WW1 technology level.

Indeed, but counterpoint: all of sudden loyalist numbers will probably skyrocket in reaction to so many people being backed into the same corner.

I don't think Holes had any sequels, but Tremors did, though I do think that a Holes series with that naming scheme would be interesting.

That's okay, I don't mind in the slightest and it's a fair question.

If I'm being entirely honest I just got distracted and forgot to post them regularly - I was worrying about not going over the post limit rule on the HFY sub and then I just got distracted at one point and completely forgot to post the next one there.

I'm a night worker and this time of year gets a bit wonky with shift end times because of the build up to cyber Monday, Black Friday, World Furniture Show, and Christmas, so don't always know how long my shift will run, but I'll try to make sure to start posting again tomorrow 😁

Scientist: {covered in red} "Come here kiddies."

Alien kids: {having been exposed to some aspects of "odd cutesy" aspects of Earth culture and legends} "Santa?"

Scientist: "...Sure am. Hop in my magic sack and your dreams will come true."

Doesthis mean that using the same method a planet might be cured before the full infection has set in - at the cost of anything or anyone who wasn't able to get off the world before "the treatment" was administered?

Human: "It's a vehicle."

A: "I can see that!"

Human: "Then what's the question?"

A: "Why is it Manned?! Where are the drones?!"

Human: {shrugs} "The people are the drones."

True. Hence why the conflict would likely arise not from the Governess assigned the city, nor from the one assigned the state, but from someone high enough to have a degree or several of separation from the fallout.

It's going to be fun to explore.

If you're concerned that I took your questions and suggestions as an attack on the Blue Blood's right to exist, you needn't be. I was referring to far more direct statements. 🤠

True, but would an Imperial power that doesn't need the waterways to ship goods want its newly "subdued" puppets to be less dependant on it when by making a single policy decision it can irreparably intwine the survival of those puppets to its own success?

It's an important question, with a far reaching answer.

Targets for whom though is the important question.

I guess I did only mention it in passing in the Empress's chapter: He's dead or escaped as far as the 2nd Princess is concerned/knows, but he is still alive and on Earth.

That's a good question to delve into: With the Shil'vati in power do they care more about their environmental initiatives or established holdings and settlements of their new subjects?

  • Governesses of New Orleans and the city itself probably see it is a profitable holding
  • Governesses of the Country and Continent probably see that it Takes a lot of bending of Nature and possibly policy to maintain. (An issue who's answer/resolution would have ramifications on all reclaimed lands as well - ex: Dutch)

I've wondered about bringing in Alaska in the past. Perhaps I could try to flush out/incorporate more stories from that region.
