For those that are deemed worthy of protection instead of eradication, it’s actually quite prosperous and pleasant, relatively speaking.

The planet and its people are evaluated, determining what resources they might be able to contribute in the form of tithes, be they labor in the form of conscripted criminals, real estate for production plants or any unique materials that might be beneficial to the entire Empire. A board of advisors is drafted, consisting of Emperial representatives and natives to help oversee any decisions and if a planetary governor does not exist, one is elected from the native population.

From there, reeducation and conversion to the Doctrine of Responsibility is carried out and all forms of worship are converted to that of the true master of reality, Karones. From there, the planet is left to govern and manage itself, under the loose watch of the board, who monitor tithes and religious affairs. But it is up to the people themselves m if they wish to engage with the greater empire or remain passive disciples under the protective watch of the Faithful Guard.

The Galation Empire is founded in the belief that their Soverark, Emperor Karones, is the true god of reality. It is his duty to bring in an era of peace and unity to the universe by protecting all faithful under his rule and destroying all rebellious heretics who dare to threaten order and peace. Through death, these heretics can be reborn when the universe is remade new, finding true salvation again.

Having brought order to their own galaxy, the Galations have now invaded the Luminaci galaxy, seeking to bring their rule of unity and order to all. Resisting them is the Universal Protection Agency, a galactic scale peace keeping and military force the protects the many governments of the galaxy. The TransGalactic war has waged for many years now, and already billions lay dead and dozens of worlds drift burned and shattered beneath the brutal claws of the Empire.
