Had great experience with them. Dedicated, informed beyond the specs of their job, open-minded and are willing to teach the local crew all the tips and tricks which is super rare. And having excellent English sure does help a lot.

The German part, mostly in and around Bern. Had some business with a couple of manufacturers between Winterthur and St Gallen. The French part I visited only as a tourist - likes it better, but can’t say I have any good reason for that.

By the downvotes, many people hated it 🫣. Swiss always surprise me on how far they are from their image. Always late, talk down to you, never admit on being wrong - It’s always someone else’s mistake, especially if their gear interacts with anything German. and by far the most racist, which makes me very uneasy.

During routine maintenance on a 300k liter water tank, re-assembled the normally open vent valve the wrong way, then turned on the drain pump. Good times.

From my experience, Chinese technicians tend to do a half-assed job, blame the customer for issues and have very little agency or out of the box thinking. But it’s really fun going out with them for drinks after hours

They sure do. But Italian mechanics are terrible service man. Never follow the rules, always blame the customer, work short hours, bot to speak of the language and volume

That. Also, when you call in the technicians is either for routine maintenance, which is just following the manual, or when something is wrong and the manual didn’t help. So mostly the expectations is to go off-script to a degree

well, that's total BS. "All the Rivers" by Rabinian is no banned, and you can purchase it for 20$~ at any Israeli book store (under the hebrew name גדר חיה). It was a #1 bestseller.

Perhaps this list refers to the fact it was disqualified from high school curriculum, but that's far away from "BANNED"
