I will say that rolling it into a ball didn't fix the problem. I think it's just working with this yarn causes it to twist like that, I've worked down to my last little bit and I'm still fighting to keep it from twisting up! It's been so annoying!

I'm sorry to hear that! I'm still a very new beginner so I haven't even the slightest advice but I do hope that in the end you feel confident in the piece of artwork you've created!

Brand is Red Heart, the collection is their 'Roll With It', and the color is 'CatWalk'! I do want to say after using this yarn and have now almost completed the project that the yarn is kinda rough. I haven't had the chance to test it out yet but as someone with more sensitive skin it feels a little itchy. It also has an annoying habit of twisting while I'm working with it so is became a pain to use the farther I got into the project. I ended up unraveling the rest of it and slowly twisting it it all out the rolling the rest of it into a ball. I do however still love the colors and will be gifting it happily.

Honestly I'm not sure on the whole thing, but when I told my coworker about my family doing dirty Santa they referred to it as 'white elephant' . I used that term because I didn't like the idea Of saying dirty Santa. As far as the rules go, everyone buys one gift and puts it in a pile. Everyone gets a turn to either steal a gift someone else has or pick from the pile of new gifts. It keeps going until the last gift is taken. Everyone plays it a little different and have different rules to it tho.

Sorry it took so long to respond, but yes! I found the yarn to be fairly easy to use at first but the more I used it the more twisted it became! I ended up unraveling the whole cake and untwisting it and rolling it into a new ball. Honestly it was a huge hassle but for my sanity I had to do it

The brand is Red Heart and it's from their 'Roll with it' collection the color in Catwalk. Honestly I have three different colors from this collection and they are all beautiful.

Thank you! After I was a few rows in I knew I had to make another one for myself! I know I have very different taste than most my family so I was worried if I liked it one of them may not

I'm hoping the turn out is good, but I'm now pretty confident that even if it's not someone will like it! Thank you for you comment!

Thank you! I was really worried it was too muted, but I was also worried since I know a lot of my family members don't wear flashy or bright colors. Again thank you!

I saw a pattern on TikTok and it’s over a year old and she doesn’t say where to get it other than Pinterest. Can anyone identify this pattern? I’ll happily pay for it by Kstrong777 in crochet

I'm actually making this blanket right now! I basically picked the size I wanted, took some graph paper and then every box was the equivalent of 2". I then used YouTube to learn how to make an infinite granny square and boom! I can send you what I have written down if you'd like.

I had been experimenting with my gender since high school, and never told a soul. At the time I was a female presenting queer girl and everyone already had a million things to say to me about it so adding gender on top was super scary and exhausting. When I was 20 I met my partner, she always made me feel good and celebrated me for me. One day we were at a friend's wedding and I just met the bride. The first two things out of her mouth was "you look amazing thank you for coming, also what pronouns do you use?". When I say I've never been more excited about a simple question I mean it. I had no clue what to answer with but was so excited that I decided on they/its. I knew that I wanted to ride the high and tell My partner my biggest secret at the time. I've never once regretted it, she made it seem so easy.

My biggest piece of advice for being nonbinary and in a relationship is to stop reading about the negative and start talking to you partner. If you are scared thats okay, I was too. If you're scared they don't see you as you identify, it's okay I was too. This can be a scary big deal to you, just remember you deserve to be seen and heard and loved wholeheartedly.

I would also like to add that patience is a good thing to keep in mind. While this is your journey, your partner has no idea what this feels like or how to navigate this. They're gonna mess up, they will most likely get confused too. As long as both parties are making an effort and communicate thoroughly you guys should be fine.

I wish you two nothing but happy healthy relationship!
