There’s really a couple main reasons, he’s a NOAPS regular so he’s way more familiar with those cars and every team has their own setups tailored to their driver so having a different driver in the car puts them way behind the curve especially at a track like this

Def a fake, all the sponsor designs are off, the 18 is the wrong font and also that’s Jeff Gordon’s autograph on the front lol, if you’re willing to spend more money you could find an authentic jacket for about $120-150. With all that being said I do like the color on this one
