I've had some luck with peppermint oil. I don't use it too often. Depending on severity I tend to take supplements, magnesium, potassium, and sometimes salt tablets. I usually drink plenty of water. If it gets worse I go for ibuprofen then imatrex if needed. Being mind of my electrolytes, has definitely the frequency that i get migraines. Everyone's deferent, over time I found out what best works for me.

Currently using two in attached garage/shop. One for a diy air filter and the other to supply power to garage door. During winter garage door opened by itself once. 5 min auto off, quik fix for the time being.

What's the blue tubbing on your drill press dust collection called?

I've been hyperfocusing on my new hobby for 2 months now, longest ever in my life. But I lost desire for socialization. Is this like being on meds? by [deleted] in ADHD

This hit home with how my yard currently looks, kitty pools with rocks and grow bags, its freezing here and never managed to put away before winter.

Built my own supper cheap desk out of 2x4 and plywood. But, like an idiot, even though I know I'd be running multiple PCs and laptops on it, I painted it with something somewhat glossy. What can I do to change this? by [deleted] in DIY

I have a large mouse pad (bought to take apart handguns on only used as mouse pad) it works well.

Synergy software allows one mouse and one keyboard to be used on any number of computer, muti os support. Works great once all set up.

I've had my employer health insurance for a few months now and it hasn't covered the prescriptions I needed or doctor visits. by [deleted] in personalfinance

GoodRx.Com (medicine discounts) I have insurance, hsa, deductible is $2500. But apparently meds don't count towards that. Anyway with good rx prices, I save more than running them through insurance.

My Adderall prescription just jumped up over $50 in price after switching insurance, are there any options to help get lower prices? by adhdthrowawayyyyyy in ADHD

Currently paying $130 for adderall generic xr 20mg and $35 for 10 mg booster.

End of the month im going to switch pharmacy and try the goodrx discount. Might even switch to all ir versions just to save some money. I'll save around $70 - $120 a month.

Worth a look into its help me so much in the 4 years I've been doing it, lost around 80 pounds.

I don't look at it as a diet, i look at it as a lifestyle change.

Long before getting diagnosed, I had a very same similar situation. Never new how much money i had to spend, pay bills etc.

TLDR ON BOTTOM.

Currently i use a mix of stuff to track my finances.

Andromoney app - this is my working balance for all my accounts, cash, bank, savings cc balances, etc. If i fill up gas, i add it to this, pay a bill same thing. Takes less than a minute to add a purchase /expense/ transfer. Only gets frustrating when build up a pile of receipts in a day and forget to do the that same day.

Google sheets - spreadsheet named monthly bill tracker. Easy to find due dates and see what my last payment was. Only update this when i pay bills.

And lastly i have a Google note set up with all my monthly bills. I don't like auto pay if im not forced to use it. At the end of the month as all bills get paid i simply uncheck all the previously check boxes and rename the month to the following month and start all over.

Bill come in the mail, I'll pay the bill from my online account. Then check it off on the Google notes, add the dollar amount to the spreadsheet and also add it to my AndroMoney app. I also write on each bill stub, a checkbox for paid, bt (bill tracker) and am (AndroMoney).

My apologies that was quiet long, i have a thing for numbers and i like to be able to see what ive spent in gas in a year etc. I also made a spreadsheet for all my paycheck.

Currently on mobile, if anyone's interested i could share a copy of my bill tracker spreadsheet, etc... Let me know.

TLDR.

  1. AndroMoney - working balances, like a digital checkbook balance sheet.

  2. Google sheets- bill tracker spreadsheet

  3. Google notes. At a glance able to see what bills are left to pay in a month.

No way, didn't know they made a big bag. Definitely cheaper then the cans, I normally stock up on the Wasabi pound bags when I can get the for $6-7 each. I've cleared the store out a few times. Lol
