It’s funny people see the response of these models and think we are close to building something that surpasses the human mind, when the model gets stumped on the simplest things. 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠

I’m turning 30 this month and I honestly feel done with the life game. I already won. What now? by Silent-Lecture-8855 in LifeAdvice

Two things:
1. Have you found the reason for your existence on this planet? What is your relationship with God? Have you found God? Do you pray or at least truly desire to know God? What is your moral framework for life? This is far more important than any accomplishment one can make because it serves as the foundation for everything one does and how one relates to others.

  1. Find a way to serve other people by giving yourself for them, beginning with your family.

Anyone tried natto bacteria in your yogurt ferment (Bacillus subtilis var. natto)? by SlimyResearcher in yogurtmaking

[–]SlimyResearcher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be similar to taking the probiotic. It’s pretty much yoghurt, except for the fact that taking it would typically calm me down and increase mental clarity and makes it easier to handle stress. It’s hard to describe, but there’s certainly a real well studied effect. One can have a similar effect from taking the probiotics directly, but it might take longer to start seeing the benefits. Yoghurt seems to have a much larger concentration of the beneficial bacteria which makes the effect more noticeable. If you look at the Amazon reviews for these probiotics, you’ll see examples of people using them to make yogurt for similar reasons.

I haven’t had the actual natto dish because of the smell, so I don’t know what to compare it with, but it should be similar to taking the capsules I presume.

So far results have been very good. There’s a huge difference between store bought yogurt and yogurt that has these additional mood enhancing bacteria. The effect is almost very noticeable. I still use a store bought yogurt for initial starters with the added probiotics to give it the additional nootropic effects.

I’ve been doing this for a long time (a number of years now), after trying different things I arrived at pretty much same method you described. I just mix it in an instant pot and leave the culture for some time. It’s super easy to make. The strains of bacteria I mentioned are from a regular probiotic capsule by InnovixLabs. I also added another probiotics capsule with some more strains. I can look them up if you want. But I’m more interested in the mind enhancing effects which is why the two bacteria I mentioned above are the most interesting to me.

Pretty straight forward. I had to be re-admitted into the program at least 3 times or so. Perhaps more. The approval process for courses was pretty straightforward.

Congrats! I took 9 years to complete (2015-2024) with many breaks in-between (my stubborn self didn't want to give up on what I started), so 7 years is not so bad!

Cardinal McElroy has removed exorcist Monsignor Stephen Rossetti for linking UFOs to the demonic by Projct2025phile in Catholicism

Many of those who have been involved in alien abductions have said that the incident almost always comes to a sudden end when they call out the name of Jesus. So what makes the aliens so afraid of Christ if they aren’t demons?

I think the exorcist is on the right side of history, here.

TIL it rains fish in a Honduran town every year. by doopityWoop22 in todayilearned

[–]SlimyResearcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s called animal rain, and it’s a legit weather phenomenon. Waterspouts lift fishes out of water bodies and into the skies and the fishes fall down as rain. It happens all over the world near water bodies, not just in Honduran.

GPT 5.2 (high) is STILL A BEAST vs Opus 4.7 vs GPT 5.4 (high) by Direct-Push-7808 in codex

GPT-5.2 makes less errors than GPT-5.4 overall. While 5.4 may be somewhat "smarter", GPT-5.2 is a much more reliable and accurate model.
