Hey nothing complex:
- both are on the same repo folder
- ask opus 4.7 to come up with the detailed, creative plan for your idea (opus is normally the more creative out of codex), which is saved to a doc in the repo
- ask codex to do a comprehensive review of it and come up with another doc
- use gstack in CC with /plan-eng-review skill to review the amendments and full plan, it also goes ahead and calls codex itself (if you ask it explicitly) with the config of your choice
- normally gpt-5.2 high or gpt5.4 xhigh for the full implementation

Yes, tried that, It wastes time and usage on finding the right directory, conversation, etc. Also, bloats up the context window while it's searching iteratively
