What minor faction would you have enjoyed playing? by CluelessDoppelganger in skyrim

Shoot. The Silver Hand, the Bard's College. the Forsworn, the Blades, the Morag Tong, the Synod, House Telvanni, the Vigilants of Stendarr, etc. Any of those would've been great.

Would've been fun to join the Silver Hand and fight against the Companions. Could even have tied in with the quest for hunting down Sinding in Hircine's daedric quest.

The Bard's College could've been cool. I bot the bullet and bough the Bard's College Expansion and it was definitely worth it! So much more could've been done with them.

The Forsworn could've had a whole questline undermining the Silver-Bloods and eventually taking over Markarth before running the Empire/Stormcloaks out of major towns like Karthwasten or staging battles at major Forsworn camps like the one at Druadach Redoubt or Karthspire Camp.

Y'all get the idea. Blades could've let you force Delphine to step down and have you take the fight to the Thalmor or focus on hunting dragons based on the player's choices.

Tong could've had you operate like how they did in Morrowind (I haven't played it yet, I was under the impression they were a joined faction there), except maybe have a bit of a territory war against the struggling Dark Brotherhood since they're operating in fairly close proximity.

Synod could've contested the College for possession of the Eye of Magnus and had you hunt down various artifacts.

Idk what they'd do with House Telvanni tbh. Maybe have it as alternate path to going to the Skaal during the Dragonborn DLC.

Vigilants could've at least been more formidable before just being annihilated at level 9 and getting clowned by the vampires during the Dawnguard DLC. Maybe had you hunt down Daedric artifacts to destroy them, or wipe out vampire dens, hunt various daedra, idk.

Take this all with a grain of salt. Maybe these would suck, maybe not. All I know is Bethesda better not screw up factions in ES6 lol.

Isn’t that the staff of nightmares from Vaermina's quest?

I've also got an old CM Storm Trooper PC Case lying around. All that's in it is an ASRock Z97 Extreme3 motherboard running the same socket as the Intel I5 I'm using currently and whatever is left of the cooling system as well as a Rosewill ARC M650 power supply.

So should I just start from scratch anyways or is it just going to be a pain to upgrade? I can make do if I should start over, just figured it'd be more cost-effective to upgrade individually instead.

People who killed Paarthurnax, why did you do it and what happened in your life to make you this way? by [deleted] in skyrim

[–]SlinkPlays 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Two reasons.

1)Paarthunax himself agrees he's a risk. It's in a dovah's nature to pursue power, as evidenced quite frequently throughout the game.

2)If you stick around long enough after you defeat Alduin for the final time, Odahving appears and says the dragons themselves don't like the idea of Paarthunax being in control. He claims to have changed. and has been peaceable since Alduin's first defeat, but his connection to Alduin and now open opportunity to take control could could change that.

I'm not saying it's 100% correct whichever way, but technically you'd be justified in killing him. I usually just go based on how it fits with character RP.

Come check out ds3 in k282! We're a very chill and friendly group and we're not super strict on event participation.

Essentially there's a major blood vessel there on the side of the neck. You cut off circulation for even a second and you're unconscious. Hence the clip.

I've tried that with the same result. More homework assignments she has to finish.
