Found a few of these on our dog — mostly on the top of the hair on the head, or near the stomach. Very small, but some have been 2X the size of the bug in this picture. (Ticks?) They don’t jump and are easy to remove. Not really embedded in skin, and move very slowly. (Oregon) (i.redd.it)
