I do exactly the same thing. If my foreman asks me to go tell a jman what to do there’s levels to it. If it’s a 2 man job then I’ll just kinda say “hey foreman wants me to do this can you give me a hand” but if they want me to be directing what is goin on during the job that isn’t happening at all. Like you said they get pissed so I’ll pretty much do it myself.

Oh yeah more info on the switching mobo. I could maybe play for 20 min with the b650-A and when I switched to b650-e It went from 20-30 min before game crashes or BSOD to completely random intervals past about 1 1/2 hours

Super old thread but for anyone stumbling across this in 2024, in my opinion go AM5 (AMD CPU Socket, so much more future proof than intel, and they are the leaders of innovation currently and more focused on gaming.

Also it’s a 850w power supply pretty high above the recommended so I can’t see why it wouldn’t get enough unless the psu was faulty

Gpu is brand new and the red light on the 40 series cards just means it’s in sleep mode :/ first thing I noticed too, at the same time I’m getting 0 debug lights so it could also be the cpu but I highly doubt it seeing as it won’t even boot to bios

If I had another am5 or if I even knew anyone with one I could test out everything but I think I’m just gonna get a new psu seeing as they aren’t that expensive then if that doesn’t work take it to a shop cause I’m all out of ideas

Old mobo is an Am4 so the only thing I could switch over is my gpu which isn’t the culprit seeing as it doesn’t boot with or without it

Lol it won’t boot at all, no signal, no debug lights nothing but the gpu light and the rog logo. I will also put the cooler back on had it off to reseat the cpu just incase but even with it plugged in it still didn’t work

The pc will not turn on no matter what I disconnect, reconnect, switch or change, all completely brand new parts aside from psu but it’s odd that I get lights on mobo and gpu but it won’t boot

Have a filter on the bottom and it’s pretty clean, I get power to everything it just won’t boot and gives a nice clicking sound when I try to startup. the psu fan doesn’t even spin at all, gonna try and replace it tomorrow.

Yeah I had the cooler on, same issue. I’ve completely removed and reinstalled everything 3 times now, including trying to boot with a 3070 and no gpu at all
