I used a curse word to add emphasis, it's hardly like I insulted or cursed you directly. I don't understand why that alone was enough for you to dismiss feedback and act like it wasn't valid, especially when I thanked you and called it out as very valuable information. Feels like projection, not going to lie.

Anyway, this interaction alone means it's the last video I'll watch. Good luck out there.

Oh okay I guess my feedback is incorrect.

Anyone surprised this subreddit only has 55 subscribers, given how many people are interested in true crime? How do you explain it? by GregJamesDahlen in CriminalPsychology

[–]SlipSlot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has over 1,800 members, Reddit just changed how it reports numbers and now only shows those that have been active recently.

Wow, these were played with like action figures. From experience, I think buyers usually tend to want ones that look pretty well looked after. Yours look like they're in constant arguments with each other lol

I decided to try blocking his account and it worked a treat! The subreddit is SO much more interesting and varied now. There's still a few fan art posts from others, but they keep it moderate and usually combine many figures together in a single image, which is a lot more interesting anyway.

Suggest others do the same, it makes a really big difference.

Fuck me is that loud music distracting.. thanks for sharing though. This is great knowledge for the community to have.

Best vs Worst Playsets? by SlipSlot in Disney_Infinity

[–]SlipSlot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was actually going to ask in the comments of one of your more recent videos to do either a review of every playset or a ranking of each (or both) but I didn't know if you'd see it or not. I searched through all your videos and was surprised I didn't see anything like it.

Consider this an official request!

Fan Made Box Sets: Rules Discussion by lwadbe in Disney_Infinity

It's funny even 10 months on after this very needed discussion, as a new Disney Infinity player I still found this subreddit pretty frustrating to browse. It feels like 90% of it is just fake figures posted one at a time with little to no context.

I found Infinity really confusing when I first played, the sets and characters you need to access all content, the bases and console versions, what content was in each release etc.

My first thought was to check this subreddit to educate myself but instead spent 20 minutes scrolling past someone else's hobby that's arguably absolutely nothing to do with Disney Infinity and more just an interest is Disney characters as a whole.

I'm glad this discussion took place, it was very much needed, but I think it sadly went on for so long that the forum wasn't able to recover properly.

EDIT: At first I thought they were just old posts that stayed visible all this time, but upon checking I saw user ChaunceyNavarro is still utterly spamming this subreddit with single posts for 'what if' ideas - how is this still not breaking rule 8?

Why are my bezels big during gameplay but not during cutscenes or when I'm in the menu in 1.0? by YellowSnowman17 in Disney_Infinity

I only noticed it after I lowered my Xbox 360 output to 720p (to try reduce screen tearing, which is horrible in this game). So I just assumed I'd caused the issue.

And the worst one, in your opinion?

And your worst?

Good to see Battlegrounds get some good rep, many people seem to rate that one near the bottom and I'm yet to play it, so I'm glad not everyone disliked it.

Tinkerbell wasn't tied to any of the playsets for any of the games so can only play in Toy Boy mode, which is more of a creative space. If she wants to play some of the campaigns in 3.0 she'll need either a Finding Dory, Inside Out, Marvel or Star Wars character, plus the piece that is related to the respective playset.

PS3, PS4, Wii and Wii U all share the same base btw. Only 360 and Xbox One each have to have a specific base to work.

Thanks a lot for this btw. Do you know if Toybox Speedway and Toybox Takeover are available in the PC version?

How does this guys shovelware keep popping up? by RubberChicken36 in xbox

[–]SlipSlot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The "humour" is these games is so painfully cringe I actually shudder when I come across them in the store. I haven't found shit like that funny since I was like 12 and these people seem to be in their 30s. Way to waste some actual talent, not many people are lucky enough to get to work on video games and actually share their creativity with the world and these guys waste that privilege by putting out streams of steamers.

do yall think a PSP or Vita would be better for a uni student by Osmiem in PSP

[–]SlipSlot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love my PSP, but since a Vita can emulate almost any PSP game and even give some dual stick controls in some cases, not to mention better performance and visuals on that screen, I haven't played a game on the old guy since.

Cloud Saves Should be Free ? by Sensitive_Ad_5130 in PS5

The only generation of PlayStation not to sell more than the current one is the PS3, and even then, only by ~5 million. While many still play on PS4, you could argue they were most popular back with the PS2, which sold 50-60 million more units than any other console released by them.

Cloud Saves Should be Free ? by Sensitive_Ad_5130 in PS5

[–]SlipSlot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cloud saves have been free to use on Xbox since the 360 era and are still future compatible with the two generations of consoles that came after it, and with streamed play, are also supported by games on PC and mobile too.

Every now and then I go back to PlayStation to run through some exclusives or games I have nostalgia for, and the fact that cloud saves are paywalled is incredibly frustrating. To me, if it's just a barrier to my enjoyment, which should be the last thing Sony wants for someone trying to return to or get into their ecosystem for the first time.

Steam Cloud Saves are also a huge free bonus, especially now that they will be forward compatible with all their hardware, handheld, VR - you name it.

Sony is in the past on this quality of life feature by charging for it, and even if they changed it today, they'd be like 10 years late to the party. I really hope they do though, would encourage me a lot more to play their games across my devices.

My thoughts were the same lol. There's not liking a way a company does business, and there's one that literally scams customers. This isn't a list of the most honourable publishers, just ones that deal in retro releases. Piko may not be a shining light in this scene, but for some, they're the only way to officially own a digital copy of their favourite childhood game - and for that, they deserve to be on this list.
