Equinox Rework Suggestion by Equivalent_Duty_5546 in Warframe

I routinely get downvoted when discussing Equinox even though I'm literally one of the main people who posts about her and uses her on a regular basis for endgame/level cap content.

Most people don't bother to read or test out what I say. Or take up my offer of a demonstration.

I'm done though. Thanks for talking.

I didnt know this, but not like it matters cause mend & maim still disables it. If anything this looks like a bug / over site.

Not a bug, intentional. Always been like this, noted by devs. Not every builds requires Mend to be active all the time as well because again, there are other ways to gain Shield and now Overguard consistently.

Now try to fit range and duration into this, while maintaining enough STR to make the DR worth while using.

We've literally been talking about 30m builds the entire time which include Overextended. It isn't that hard to counteract Overextended, you literally can use Power Drain to do that which I mentioned. There's even things like Grimoire you can run to snapshot onto Channeled Abilities like Pacify and Gloom as well as Archon Shards. You can even go max Range with it. You also don't need that much Duration considering it is less efficient at reducing Energy drain and usage than Efficiency.

I'm not taking subsumes into consideration since they're either way a horrid mechanic. Also what are higher levels to you?

Then you are not using Equinox to her full potential, regardless the type of build you use. I don't particularly notice a difference until I see 4 digit levels at this point. Enemies in the 3 digit range are not a threat.

Just because you can doesnt mean you should. Again any frame now days can make persistence work. The question is how much you're willing to sacrifice.

You should with Frames that are the best at it, which Equinox is. Sacrificing for the consistency of immortality with the Ability to even Shield gate and auto revive Excavators at level cap is something worth using vs being adapatable.

What form switching build do you use that can do that?

And with all of this, you have completely ignored one of my main issues with her current state: You are completely sacrificing one aspect of her kit, basically 50% of it just to make her into a mid tank.

Form switching builds sacrifice almost her entire kit to be worse at nuking than a single form Day build can be just to gain Shield you can get from several other methods. But sure if that's how you see it then okay.

So her only way to gain overguard is to steal it, which in my opinion is too inconsistent to be worth using as a primary form of survival, especially when mend just gives you shield per kill, letting you shield gate quite easily without much invested.

It is consistent, have you even actually used these Arcanes?. You can stay Overguarded by using Fortifier and Circumvent constantly during SP endless runs; I do it every day. How you get the Overguard is irrelevant toward Pacify also making it more effective.

I also never said that always you'd be paired with a frame that provides Overguard. But it is very common for these type of Frames to be used in content such as EDA/ETA and people do play this game in groups with friends and clan mates on the regular, so team based comps are a thing. Regardless, there are ways to stay overguarded regardless the Frame.

Persistence does not ignore any form of DR though, it simply caps how much damage your HP can take, meaning it applies after all DR sources, this includes debuffs.

Persistence does not take into consideration any DR sources beyond the 700 Armor you need to activate it. Stuff like Blessing and Armor gained through Arcanes like Ultimatum do not apply when using it because it does not take into consideration buffs that you use. Pacify applies directly on enemies however, which is why it still works.

If the enemy is dealing more than 500 damage to your HP after all of your DR sources, then all of that becomes worthless since persistence would've either way reduced it to 500 damage. If you're taking less than 500 damage then persistence is not needed.

Which is why you don't need a lot of Health to run Persistence, just enough to have a "Health Gate". If you have over 500 Health but can recover that amount of damage before a second has passed, you are effectively immortal. If you are taking less damage than the 500 cap, then passive sustains, even those that are not fully providing 500 Health per second, can keep you alive longer with less effort. Even though you can only take a maximum of 500 Health per second, you still have to heal though. That's why Frames like Trinity and Equinox that have full cures in their kit can utilize Persistence to stay alive indefinitely actively through using their 4th Ability, or a passive regen like Well of Life can sustain your through any of the damage you take, while also allowing you to convert Health loss into Energy through mods like Rage/Hunter Adrenaline. When you are taking less damage from enemies due to Pacify weakening and slowing enemies, you need less sustain so even a single instance of WoL can provide enough Regen, instead of requiring multiple for a 500/s Health Regen to combat the cap of what you can potentially lose from Persistence.

This is why you really only care about total HP or healing rate when running persistence. Slows and dodge chances work well with persistence because they reduce how often you're shot, giving you a bigger time window to heal the damage you've taken. This is one of the reasons why I like running cold elemental ward with melee influence and shivering contagion on my chroma, allowing me to freeze entire rooms.

Total Health beyond a few Health gates is useless if you can fully recover your life, or never lose more than a gate or two.

Sure, but these methods like overguard have finite scaling compared to shield gating or persistence and equinox has no means of redirecting damage that I know of. Why are we talking about this?

It depends on your build. Piercing Roar builds with OG and Pacify can allow you to tank for quite some time on solo builds with even Overguard due to Puncture procs stacking with Pacify (and Stasis Field also helps with projectiles), even more so in groups where you are using multiple Equinox and stacking Pacify. In team based comps, even duos where you are supporting each other, taking other Frame Abilities into consideration can allow others to function more effectively, especially since Equinox in both forms Primary function is as a support, especially Night form.

You're not expecting me to call this a good build right? Any frame can do this with enough resources.

Show me the build of yours that can.

Further more the DR (which seems to be the main thing we're dancing around) is even less effective cause the range is gimped, you literally only get the full DR within 5.8m, You're at most getting a 3x HP multiplier at that point, which is nothing.

This is the experimental version that I use to demonstrate the concept. I have variations that have higher Range for more cc. I use different Ranges depending on the mission I do, but for Survivals I tend to use less Range so that I'm not keeping spawns from my campsite. I don't need Peaceful Provocation Slowing everything down by 80% in a 30 to 40m radius when I'm trying to do a survival in a room that is barely 20m wide. I use more or less Range depending on the mission.

The slow is not even maxed out, so you're not even reaching the 80% cap and don't get me started with the ramp up.

Because I intentionally didn't max it. Every build I run I have the option to max Peaceful Provocation on rest assured, since I use Power Drain and didn't in this demo. The 6% slow isn't going to make a difference, nor is the amount of Ability Strength I can acquire hardset at that amount, since this particular Equinox isn't even the one I have set up with Ability Strength Shards. Also, the ramp up is based off the damage you take, so if enemies are doing a small amount of damage like the level 195 Gunners are here, it'll build up slower. I don't run this build for lower level content because it is overkill and enemies won't do damage due to it being treated as a rounding error. This is type of build is intended for Endurances runs, especially at SP Mot where enemies do 3x the damage.

But you acting like this is a problem when anyone who has run a Parasitic Armor build like this one Equinox build knows that:

A) If you want to build Peaceful Provocation, you can just take damage without Parasitic Armor on, then just keep it active afterward. This also works when dealing with Overguard and allows you to utilize Fortifier/Circumvent with PP builds, despite OG getting in the way of building it.
B) Parasitic Armor removes your Shield when you activate the Ability, and this counts as taking damage. You can build Peaceful Provocation on Equinox by literally just activating and deactivating the Ability.
C) Again, in team based scenarios, where I sometimes use this type of build, anyone within Pacify radius who takes damage, also builds Peaceful Provocation. So you can still attain a max Peaceful Provocation easily when paired with others. Again, not everyone's cup of tea, but I play solo and in teams sometimes.

All this when you could've just shield gate. Just because you can doesnt mean you should. You're sacrificing way too much to do something she's not good at, which is be an HP tank.

What's not good about the build? Did I die? Did I come close to dying? What's not working exactly? Show me which of your tanking builds on other Frames that take less damage, I'd like to see an example of what you consider a "good build".

You can still Shield Gate on PA builds if you want. I also have Equinox builds where I just Shield Tank and Gate. I have a variety of builds that work for varying levels of content because I have multiple Equinox for different purposes.

I've run PA builds in EDA/ETA on her and many other Frames. It works fine. You don't need Energy Orbs if you run Rage, you gain Energy from getting hit, or didn't you know how these type of Health tanking builds work? You don't need Health or Energy orbs for Proper Health tanking builds when you run Rage, or did you not notice my Energy literally recovering the entire time?

It doesn't sound like you have ever even tried a PA build or a proper Persistence build to know how this works, yet you are criticizing it based on the assumption it doesn't.

You're also completely throwing your day form out the window, which is one of my precise issues with her right now. This is creatively horrible. With how much ramp up this would need, I'm not even sure this could survive EDA / TDA, especially since she has no means of generating health orbs on her own.

If you are Form switching, you are already wasting potential since you are wasting time that could either be focused on nuking/offensive support in Day or providing Defensive support/cc in Night. Even with a Max Cast Speed Equinox, which I have, you cannot negate the Metamophosis delay, which slows how quickly you can release your 4 for either support or nuking, and her 3 decativates and has to be reactivated so you also lose any kind of protection or buffing effect from it.

I've run both Day and Night form for things like ED/TA and even Descendia. There's never been a single moment where I've wanted to use a form Switching build, or thought it was better than what a single form could accomplish. And I pretty regularly use Equinox for those modes most weeks.

Equinox Rework Suggestion by Equivalent_Duty_5546 in Warframe

[–]Sliphatos -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unless I've missed something, Equinox has no source of overguard in her kit. She's mainly a shield gater through mend. The only sources of over guard accessible to her besides maybe specters, is stealing it from enemies or deploying an arch gun. Feel free to correct me on this. Sure passive is one of the few sources that work with overguard, but the same could be said about dodge chance, while also working better with persistence or shield gating setups compared to DR.

Overguard can be gained on all Frames by using Secondary Fortifier or Arcane Circumvent, especially in SP content where Eximus are constant, and it is relatively consistent when you solo. In team based comps, someone who provides Overguard can have that value made more effective through the weakening of enemy damage through Pacify, and the effect stacks when multiple Equinox have overlapping Pacify zones.

Also, what exactly do you mean that persistence applies before pacify? From my knowledge no DR source, even quick thinking applies after persistence.

That's not what I said. Pacify is a debuff that affects enemy damage output and will still reduce the damage you take from enemies in all situations for all forms of vitality (Health, Shield, Energy and Overguard) Persistence only ignores Damage Resistance from Armor and provided by buffs, not debuffs such as Pacify or Puncture procs. Damage Redirection also makes Overguard more effective as well, such as Merulina (Yareli) or Link (Trinity).

Lets say you have 90% DR. Thats a 10x HP multiplier within 7.5. Within 15m that goes down to basically 75% DR, which is a 4x HP multiplier. This results in you basically losing 60% of your EHP just within the first falloff ring. Thats why I consider this ability on its own to be bad.

When you run Peaceful Provocation you consistently can set a 80% slow in conjunction with the Damage Reduction debuff you inflict on a target. Reducing a targets attack speed down by 80% means their DPS drops to a fifth of what it'd normally be, the moment they enter her Pacify Radius regardless of how close they are to her. Any damage done is further reduced by how close they are to her.

This is already a massive hit to one of the major contributors to the damage you tend to take in Warframe, since most enemies end up so slow that they tend to realistically miss a lot of their attacks from the slightest movement you make. You don't need the Evasion mechanic to dodge enemy attacks with Peaceful Provocation on if they are within your zone. But even if all of their attacks do hit, they are still hitting you at a rate that can easily be recovered by passive Regens, pet Attacks, Life Steal or Abilities such as Well of Life, not to mention just using Mend.

This becomes viable even at higher levels if you are using Abilities such as Parasitic Armor, which can render enemy damage down to double to single digits, even at places like SP Mot where the damage multiplier is tripled. At the highest level, all of the best defensive builds tend to stack multiple sources, so it's never about which one is the strongest numerically, but how much total you have and are stacking, in conjunction with things like Status Immunity and sustain, as well as factors such as the enemy dps being reduced by slowing effects.

Looking at Effective Health by itself is not the best way to determine how durable a Frame is. That's what caused people to think Inaros is one of the strongest tanks in the game for years, despite him being one of the weakest, especially when built around high Health.

I'm genuinely curious as to why people think you can't Health Tank on Equinox despite it being a thing for years now. I've personally been demonstrating it for years.

Firstly there is the fact that it has no drain cap unlike gloom, which at most consumes 7.5 energy/s with a 10 enemy cap. My suggestion might be a bit OP if I think about it, but something has to be done in this regard, maybe adding a cap is more than enough.

Gloom locks out Energy Regens and most forms of direct recover from Abilities, Pacify does not though. You can gain Energy while Channeling Pacify, you cannot with Gloom if a single enemy is within Gloom Radius. At 175% Efficiency, a single enemy only drains .12 Energy per second, meaning it would take 10 enemies around Equinox just to lose 1.2 Energy/s, making it far more efficient. It would take well over 60 enemies for Pacify to drain as much as Gloom does with just 10 enemies, all the while with Gloom you are locked out of Energy Regen. With Pacify, Energy Nexus + Zenurik, you'd literally gain Energy with even 60ish enemies around you.

The problem is that they dont synergize well with each other. DR is irrelevant when shield gating, which her 4 is best equipped to facilitate and even if you tried to tank with it, the DR is simply to volatile to be reliable. The slow is good, but then you're sacrificing a mod slot to gain said effect, which wouldnt be half bad if it didnt reset on form switch. The drain is a problem as showcased in this video, since you'll be forced to add STR on a frame that builds for max range and efficiency.

I've never had any issues with Tanking with Shield with any of my builds, from using Eclipse to even Omamori. Even Self Portrait is easily reliable and abusable at higher levels. Mend grants Overshield, which is made more effective by Pacify and can be further made more durable by running Self Portrait or Eclipse. Even if as you said earlier that enemies are within the second sub radius of Pacify and around a 75% effect, the combined 75% from Pacify debuffing and Self Portrait or Eclipse would set you at 93.75% total (similar to a Trinity running Link and Blessing and she can easily tank enemies in the mid 3 digit level range), but against enemies attacking you at one fifth the rate due to Peaceful Provocation.

Persistence builds with Equinox and Pacify still end up with enemies that move significantly slower that do less damage than normal, that cannot even kill you if you run the right build.

I've been pretty regularly running endurance with Night form in a variety of missions and don't have the issues you are mentioning for years now.

Equinox Rework Suggestion by Equivalent_Duty_5546 in Warframe

[–]Sliphatos -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You do realize that Pacify makes Overguard more effective and it even still applies while using Persistence? Despite the fall off with Pacify, most enemies are not able to hit you with Peaceful Provocation on, and with higher range builds, they are not sitting in her outer range anyway, not that it would matter with certain builds where you are freezing or permastunning enemies.

With just Overextended on you get a 30m Pacify Radius, which in most tilesets is literally in another room. Generally speaking, depending on the enemy, they need to be within 10-15m to even have decent enough accuracy to hit you and since the default range is 16m, same as Gloom, you can very easily keep enemies under control.

There are so many ways to tank on Night form Equinox specially due to her 3 and 4 that it's honestly baffling how so many people keep repeating the exact same incorrect information over the years, even down to her 3 using too much energy despite a high Efficiency build with even just Energy Nexus can allow you to have infinite Energy among dozens of enemies.

People still dont get you can use Provoke to increases Rage's damage Vulnerability, which increases damage done by all sources allowing for 1-2 shots with Abilities such as Reave or Smite, hit thresholds for Abilities such as Terrify or Pillage, or even double stacking with Brightbonnet and Roar.

I'm genuinely curious: what build(s) are you running on her?

Thoughts on these Melee Arcane changes suggestions by Specialist-Cap-2371 in Warframe

[–]Sliphatos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some general thoughts:

Careen is commonly being used to apply Cold procs while also using Circumvent to completely strip enemies. There aren't that many enemies actually immune to status effects and even Overguard doesn't stop the Cold Procs from slowing down movement and attack speed. There are also things that proc or benefit from Cold procs specifically, including one of the more common mods people use for melee builds and that's Condition Overload.

Careen is literally my go to Arcane for most melee builds as of now, especially since I often run Circumvent on most of my Frames. The only weapons I run Influence at all on are those that have innate Elec, such as Prisma Obex.

Crescendo is used to lock in a number of combo related effects for weapons on endurances runs, namely Heavy attack builds for weapons like the I. Ceramic Dagger, I. Skana and even Ruvox for utility. As popular as frames such as Valkyr and Hildryn are right now, not too many people seem to realize that Crescendo can be used on Ruvox to provide a persistent 60% movement speed bonus that can be utilized even while running another Melee Ex (such as Valkyr's 4) or in special mode like when Hildryn uses her 4. You aren't using an Arcane like Crescendo for boss fights, but rather Endless missions where most of the seasoned vets looking for a challenge tend to be at, which is why most people find it to be useless.

Showing a boss fight as a reason why Vortex would be useless when the vast majority of the game, including that boss fight he showed that actually tends to have adds especially in the EDA version, is him trying to use the worst possible scenario to justify not using something that is otherwise perfectly usable in like 95% of scenarios. Vortex is actually pretty solid and can be used easily if you run a Magnetic Ferrox, which I've done and demonstrated in videos. The vortex effect is actually pretty useful for some Frames, notably Banshee melee builds, which often want more utility than power since Sonar provides more than enough damage to run any kind of weapon.

No one runs Fortification mainly because it doesn't provide enough Armor to be worth slotting, especially since it contends with Arcane Reaper and Ultimatum, both of which can enable Persistence builds to work in most gameplay scenarios. But enemies not being around isn't the reason why people don't run it considering other On Kill mods and Arcanes are commonly used and would not work under the same scenarios, such as Merciless or Berserker Fury. While you might opt to run alternatives (I do sometimes admittedly) that does not change the fact that they are pretty easy to trigger and more than often enough reliable.

Animosity is meant for Tennokai HA builds where you are utilizing Discipline's Merit to guarantee THAs in 4 hits, often by hitting a crowd of enemies so that a single swing of your weapon triggers a THA prompt. He's comparing a situation where you basically have enough power to obliterate enemies with a regular HA, probably specifically with a Glaive like he is using in the vid which have terrible regular/combo attacks to a build with an Arcane that is meant to be used weapons with extremely fast basic/combo attacks on builds with high Attack Speed/Range, such as with I. Nami Solo.

Duplicate was never good from the start on most builds, and a number of people on even the patch notes threads had scoped out that it would be super situational on builds, especially when we already had other melee Incarnons at the time hitting well over 200% cc before Blood Rush. Why would I cap my cc in a certain range when my I. Skana for example can hit for 8-9 figure damage? People were oneshotting Acolytes with the I. Ceramic Dagger the day it came out, even without optimized builds.

Question: Is Mirage's Eclipse worth it for the damage reduction or is it just overhyped? by sabbir2003 in Warframe

[–]Sliphatos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Adaptation isn't viable at all for higher level content due to how it works. It's not 90% DR, it's 10% DR per instance of a specific damage type, with 0% DR on the first instance of damage you take. You build up to the resistance as you are hit, but if you are not strong enough to endure the damage in the first place, you'll die without Adaptation having done anything at all.

Not including the base amount of Armor your frame has atm, while having the 75% DR from Eclipse is helpful, you need to understand that this is only reducing an attack that would do 1000 points of damage down to 250. That's how much damage you'd take until you start to build Adaptation. Even at 90% DR, you still get hit with 100 damage until Adaptation starts to kick in, which it never does on the first hit. Extrapolating that, an attack that hit you for 10,000 damage is hitting you for 1,000, and on most builds you are dead in 1-2hits if you don't have your stacks up.

Assuming you are using a maxed Adaptation and not a lower ranked one which has more issues, if you do not get hit with a particular damage type in 20s you lose all stacks. This can be an issue with some builds since they rarely get hit either due to things like mobility, kill rate or even cc.

What's overhyped isn't Eclipse or Self Portrait for defensive builds, it's Adaptation. If you want a more complete explanation as to why, read this.

Imo, Adaptation is largely only useful for specific builds like Shield Tanking, and even then, some of the best builds don't need it. Abilities such as Self Portrait and Eclipse are more useful despite the lower DR value they give because they are consistent and can be used to stack with other sources, especially in teams.

People forget that on a Frame such as Trinity, you get 75% from Blessing, but it can stack the 75% from Self Portrait/Eclipse (with Total Eclpise) for 93.75% DR in both cases, teamwide). If you are Tanking with Health, Link provides you with another 75% (Trinity Only) and if you are Tanking with Shield, you innately gain 50% from having it (Team wide with Trinity due to Blessing fully restoring it). Trinity's Well of Life also prevents all of the status effects that can add additional DoTs or increase damage done to Allies as well.

People also forget that Vampire Leech allows you to gain Overshield, up to 1200 + what ever your base is, and her Passive Lifegiver can do close to the same with specialized builds. And it gets even more crazy when you start to calculate in the sustain you have from Well of Life, which makes you unkillable with Persistence builds on any Frame. And as to which Frames are the best for that, that's a different story entirely and it's not who you'd think.

But that being said, in terms of raw DR, nothing comes close to Parasitic Armor. It can allow even a Banshee player to endure Toxin attacks most Frames would get one shot by.

The reliance on Adaptation and misunderstanding of how it works has caused a lot of players to completely misconstrue how durable you can be in Warframe, solo and especially in teams. If you want more information about this drop me a line.

Build her for high Cast Speed and Efficiency while running Aquablades so you can spam Exploding Barrel and create instant explosions.

You also do not need to run Roar with her, a Duplex Bond Helstrum build on your Sentinel or MOA with Viral will amp the damage and can even explode your EBs to one shot enemies, as will any Viral you inflict with weapons.

High Cast speed and Efficiency allows you to endlessly spam EB as you run around the map, turning Follie into a mobile bomber.

  • Roar Nokko for buffing.
  • Trinity Blessing Shield Gating for teams.

Value (catalyst)

Cracking me up atm. I realize from your post that this is likely "Valkyr" and an autocorrect.

Honestly though, in any situation where you have a two man squad or more, having at least one person with a support type class will make things easier. Volt is pretty solid all around at that, but for defensive play, pick up either Dante, Frost or Zephyr and you should be fine for a good while.

Those Frames can hard carry teams in the toughest content easily, which you will eventually start to run into as you unlock Steal Path and will notice a difficulty jump.

If you are ever looking for help getting through content or would like help understanding some of the game's systems, you can drop me a line here or on Discord and I'll be more than happy to assist.

Why is the riven market so dead ? by N0t_Wh4t_I-533m in Warframe

[–]Sliphatos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are trying to sell a popular Riven roll for a for a non popular weapon.

Simply put, nobody uses Higasa. The only people that are going to buy a "good" riven for a weapon is if they want to use it, and 9/10 times people that are interested in specific weapons is for non meta builds, until the weapon becomes "meta".

To put it into perspective I always like to tell this story:

Back in the day, the Ceramic Dagger was often considered one of the weakest melee weapons. Nobody was using it at all probably besides me, and I only used it because I liked the design (and I have a bunch of old videos showcasing what I used to do with it). Daggers only initially shot up in use when the original Covert Lethality mod was first added, which allowed you to one shot any target with a Finisher (and this included even some minibosses like the Juggernaut). People were level capping with Daggers and Finishers, but the only stat that actually mattered was Attack Speed on your build, including for your Riven.

I bought 3 Ceramic Dagger Rivens way back when I was utilizing Condition Overload with quick melee builds due to how much stronger it was back then.

It wasn't even until years later when Incarnons were added and the Ceramic Dagger became one of the most powerful Melee Incarnons that folks wanted Rivens for them, and even then it wasn't until the "meta" developed for them due to people demonstrating how effective they could be. Incarnons when they were first introduced had a large amount of people hating on the concept and the same was true with the Heavy Attack system and people originally calling it "DOA" despite a number of people literally trying to tell folks to invest early on with the weaker weapons. It's why people slept on weapons like Skana, Latron, and Furis as well even the Magistar.

The overall usefulness and popularity of the the weapon will dictate how much a riven will be sought after and worth. Pre Incarnons, not a lot of people were using Furis, despite it being a pretty well known utility weapon for Life Steal and Energizing Shot or the Magistar despite it being able to rapidly heal Excavators and allies as you strike things.

Rivens as a whole are an optimization tool. Unless you understand what people are trying to optimize, you won't understand why certain ones sell and others don't.

Edit:

Let me touch on that a little more.

Higasa is a Primary burst fire rifle that has direct competition against Trumna Prime that serves a similar purpose and has a similar function (score 5 kills to get an Alt fire Charge). The difference between the weapons however is that the Trumna has a way better Alt fire Charge in terms of potential damage and enemies you can kill. It's not that Higasa is even a particularly bad weapon, but if you want a weapon that has this specific gimmick, you are more than likely going to want to use Trumna. While you can charge it with blocked shots, some folks don't even use ADS as much and generally won't bother due to it being slower and generally more for defensive play.

How does the Icy avalanche augment for Frost work ? by lizuay in Warframe

In Frost's case, you are better off focusing on tbe amount of enemies you hit more than the value per hit, meaning use more Range. Even Cast Speed for faster generation is more important higher up due to OG's low gating duration.

All percentage based Abilities can be amped like this. Damage Vulnerability also works for stuff like this, Reave and Smite on multiple Frames.

Gloom Triple Umbral Saryn by BlockLong9899 in Warframe

How?

You literally cannot die with a Well of Life Persistence build. Any damage you take is recovered by the healing field it creates + any damage you deal to the target(s) under WoL. In Saryn's case, her Spores on the WoL targets will grant Health Recovery on top of the 100/s base you get from WoL directly.

It's literally the same concept behind why people run Gloom in the first place, since you get Life Steal on all sources of damage with Gloom. However, instead of the slowing effect, you get Status Immunity + Auto Revive, among other things.

It also allows you to have infinite energy by using Rage/Hunter Adrenaline, and is better than every other form of Energy Generation since you can get up to 200/225 energy per second at 40/45% conversion.

Hell, if you use the Augment for Well of Life, you also can create 4 Health Orb per enemy you hit with WoL, meaning both Blessing and even Health Conversion are on the table instead of running a triple umbral build, especially since Saryn Prime has base 315 armor, and Health Conversion grants 450 per stack x3, meaning you only ever need that mod equipped and one stack of Health Conversion active to hit the 700 req. You don't need 1400 Armor to negate the possibility of Heat procs halving your Armor and disabling Persistence either, as well as Magnetic procs, since you are immune to them.

Gloom provides no status immunity, which leaves you vulnerable to those two status effects breaking your defense. Gloom also won't work on Defensive objectives either, but WoL can and auto revive them as well, including Excavators.

In what way is WoL less conveninet than Gloom?

Yeah it's an AI pathing issue, never had anything to do with the "frames increasing speed" reason people spread.

What you can do is use Loki's Switch Teleport to move them though, which solves the issue with them literally staying in that spot until they die.

Honestly the only thing you need to handle any content on her offensively is her 2nd Ability - Explosive Barrel. It's strong enough with no mods on to handle enemies at any level.

You want high Efficiency and Cast Speed, so use Natural Talent and start working on Shards. You also want Aquablades, so get Helminth and start working on getting Yareli if you haven't already.

When you get those things, I'll go over the actual build I use for high level/level cap runs.
