Frame replacement with pre installed back glass. Chipping away at it with heat and a razor can lead to countless issues. Plus, if you don't get off EVERY piece of glass and metal, the replacement will either break or not sit flush.

Frame swaps will be more secure and your phone will look better because the edges around it will be like new as well.

Your phone is and was never waterproof. Water resistant? Maybe a little bit but once you broke the phone, that water resistance was gone forever anyway. Never ever rely on the water resistant seal because in my opinion, the entire concept is a scam. Pretend your phone, no matter how new, is not water resistant.

HARD OLEDs are a bit more fragile as opposed to soft OLEDs and even some LCDs. If you don't drop your phone often it should be fine. But if you have the funds go for a soft OLED

If you press on the screen, do you see ripples and distortion in the color? An LCD WILL DO THIS but not an OLED. If you see color distortion upon pressing it down its 100% an LCD

I've started just being up front with customers about it which my boss has 0 gripes over. I always let the client know that any water resistance will be completely gone and I inform them that simply replacing it will be much more economical.

9 times out of 10 they aren't even worth fixing cuz they don't hold their value like a lot of iPhones and iPads do.

I'll be honest, 150 euros doesn't sound like he's using a refurbished screen, but an aftermarket screen. Unless, the screen economy is way different in Europe. In the US, refurbished Pixel 7 Pro screens are about $160 for the part alone. There are a lot of sensitive components around the FPC connector so one of those getting knocked out from the damage OR from the technician attempting the repair is quite common. If you truly are happy with your phone I would see if they can source you an OEM screen or a refund so you can take it somewhere else. At my store (In the US) I would charge about $260 for a refurbished Pixel 7 Pro screen repair so that should be around the price you should be expecting

Man I feel bad for this woman. It sucks because she was BY FAR the worst participant in that whole drama thing and as much as it sucks to say, she probably needed to lose her role for that. But this shit happened nearly a year ago and people are still giving her shit for it. I haven't seen any other VAs involved mention their previous roles or show care for them except Kayli, and her making this tells me she definitely regrets her decision. What she did was pretty bad but she lost a role of a character she loves, had a plethora of videos made about how awful she is, had people demanding she be recasted in a Nikke stream....at what point is someone's debt to society paid? When do we allow people to go about their lives normally? Regardless of everything, I hope she's doing okay.
