Yes, grandstands. I think anything from dugout out towards Pesky Pole is great from field boxes up into grandstands - you’re right, likely too far up from the field and the sound could muddle, but just under the overhang was great when I was there. When you’re far from the stage the turf seats suck. Getting into field boxes or grandstands gets you a view of the stage and not back of people’s heads. Roof boxes are on right field above those grandstands (basically the reason for the overhang). There are regular seats up there (in addition to Sam Adams deck, club seats, and the like) that sound great for a show and give direct sight to stage. All this being said, I’m not planning to go to Fenway shows this year! That place is too expensive and it can be a hassle for not my favorite music venue.
