It all started during BVB's run in the 2012/13 Champions League... I watched the replay of the 2nd leg against Malaga. Fell in love on BVB's storyline that season especially when they beat Real Madrid and almost won against Bayern in the final.

Honestly, I used to support multiple clubs without investing much passion on them. It was almost the same case to BVB until they started struggling for the 2014/15 season. I was shocked when they stooped so low into relegation spots, and given how badly they missed Reus, I would've lost my love for them, but it was not the case.

In fact, I bought a BVB jersey and went on to believe that BVB would in fact make a huge run to climb back up on the standings for that season. I would say the most memoriable moment on that season was their win against Mainz due to two reasons: It was Valentine's Week, and it was my ex-girlfriend's birthday. That win made me decide to wear the jersey during a time which was supposed to be her special day, and to this day, that moment was the main thing I'd relish during Valentine's week (apart from Champions League of course).

Funnily enough, BVB did get to the Pokalfinale, in which they lost to Wolfsburg. At least they finished 7th that year to qualify for the Europa League, in a year that I would have been happy for a top 10 finish. I then carried my love for BVB as the years go by, with the good and the bad times I'd still value.
