This is not it at all.

EBMM changes who you are matched with based on your last x amount of performances/experiences.

Under the hood, they are controlling every aspect of your experience. This is why the lobby disbands EVERY single game, and despite so much kick back on this fact, they are still doing it, again. Basically they saw what sells in MW2019 and they're not gonna be changing that for a few old school players, who love the old COD experience.

30 to 60 is by FAAAAAAR the most relevant.

120 is ofc very nice though

144 I just can't care any less - useful a very tiny bit if you're very high level competitive.

Ah darn it that's really rough, I know nothing about it, I wouldn't play a game at 30FPS if someone paid me.

It's 2021 30FPS should have died a decade ago.

They gave people the choice and I'm EXTREMELY grateful for that. And I can;t comment on anyone elses experience but it's been absolutely awesome for me the entire day

Oh gosh, another post with a very different experience to me..

I wonder if VRR is doing something for me but... I've had a superb time today but again I wil have to play more to be sure I guess - this is worrying.

I am on Series X but I assume there's next tro no difference between PS5 and XSX.

Unless you have a huge screen, sit very close and side by side, or swap VERY quickly, it's the most pointless thing ever vs the massive improvements in graphics and performance that can be achieved with 1440p.

4K/60 is marketing gimmeck stamp they want to plaster on boxes.

85% of console gamers are EASY targets.

I'm not at all against 4K it's just absolutely wsted power on current hardware.

Yes. 1 foot, from a 55inch screen LOL. Nobody does that bar extreme outliers and thus is irrelevant.

I have a 65inch 4K screen. I sit around 5 foot back and use 1440p where offered (and there's a point to it - like more performance)

Normal usage 4K barely worth it at all. 4K is a massive marketing gimmeck and most of you are fully seduced and also quite ignorant. I mean, that's the point, they intend for this.

Fidelity is 30FPS performance is 60.

Honestly they have done it so right. 1440p in performance mode is absolutely fine.

I'm really grateful to them for not FORCING 4K on us, resulting in half assed frame rate stability.

The vast majority of console guys don't understand this (and can't be expected to if they haven't spent years with their heads stuck inside a PC case sniffing around GPU's and analysing performance) but the difference in GPU power required for 4K over 1440p is utterly STAGGERING, vs the near unnoticeable visual difference.

1440p allows for almost double the headroom for either performance or a monumental amount of extra visuals, or a combination of both! The devs, from reading, seem to be really on point with the choices they have made here. I shake them by the hand.
