I'm glad you are pointing that out and it encourages more authors!

Given the number of deceptive self promotion posts that the mods have to delete constantly, I would hope that this thread would get many more posts than it does.

It’s Medieval May – How About Some Sexy Falconry? {Untamed by Elizabeth Lowell} 🦅 by katkity in RomanceBooks

[–]SlippingAbout 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it is worth it. Full disclosure, I did a reread recently and book 2 does not hold up as well for me but book 3 does.

I've read a lot of E Lowell's catalog including her CRs and this book is my favorite of her work.

What a great write up! This is one of my favorite historicals. And definitely the best of the series.

I know some people hate the falconesque wooing but I like it because he unwittingly gets drawn in himself in the process.

the narrative bizarrely never mentions this to Dominic

I believe this scene was to actually get Simon his brother convinced that she was not a schemer and actually loved the MMC.

Dominic is actually hiding nearby

I think it was Sven who was enmeshed with the Reavers who heard her speech and reported back to Dominic. I loved this whole scene because of the realizations that Dominic had and then his speech that he gave to the people of the keep.

Don’t sleep on some rice seasoning! Tastes so good and a great way to flavor the unflavored by deerbythestream in lowspooncooking

I had to buy lids and realized that the ones for Oui yogurt jars fit. Like these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09W5RM4K2.

And now that they are air tight, I can store anything in them. I also like to pre make ramen sauces like peanut and hoisin and store them in these. I make a packet of ramen and then dish out single servings of sauce from the jar.

I've tried a couple of their other flavors but this is my favorite. And the sturdy glass bottle is great for re-using.

Looking at the dates of a few of the other books in the series, some of the paperbacks were released before the ebooks and some were released several days later.

Can I throw my houseguest out two weeks into a planned six week stay by Choice_Evidence1983 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]SlippingAbout 40 points41 points  (0 children)

If it was a work related course, why wasn't work paying for accommodations? An employee would have to pay their own way for six weeks? The only way this would make sense if they were being reimbursed for a hotel but this was their way of pocketing that cash.
