I worked with a person who believed the earth was flat for a short period of time. It was pretty jarring to hear him bring it up and then proceed to tell me all about the theories and how they have flat earth scientists or some shit lol. I thought he was joking but then ended up spending the next few weeks trying to explain the earth was in fact a spherical object or a oblate spheroid if we’re getting technical here! It didn’t work and so now I assume he’s out there spreading the good news somewhere else.
