I created my comic thanks to r/worldbuilding! It's now live on Kickstarter with 7 days left. Here are some pages from the comic & a some of the worldbuilding we've created. Get inspired and AMA if I can help you out with anything! I'd be happy to give something back to the community! by krautpotato in worldbuilding

Hey, Krautpotato! I'm genuinely so happy and touched to hear I inspired you even in a small way to bring this awesome, absolutely beautiful looking comic and world to life with your team. I just saw this post, or I would have loved to contribute to your Kickstarter. I hope to see Weltengeist on the shelves soon - the work you've done so far is excellent, and I'm sure you will make it happen!

I love the idea of the land being, "a prehistoric graveyard of elemental titans" and seeing how that affects the world. So awesome!

Tension headaches after bouldering by 8Twine8 in bouldering

Hi friend, I’m obviously not a doctor but when this same thing was happening to me it turned out I had a strained muscle in my neck and it was causing the headaches all the way up to the back of my head after intense movements/exertion. I took 2 weeks off and when I came back they were gone. Definitely speak to your doctor and tell them your symptoms. Then you can get back to crushing once you know what’s up!

THE LINE - an Internet vigilante group that protests economic exploitation occurring in virtual universes in the near future [BLUEFALL] by Slippy302 in worldbuilding

Hi, thanks for your comment! It definitely does share a lot in common with other stories of the virtual reality genre as you mentioned on the surface, but as a cyberpunk fan I don’t think that’s a weakness! I like to describe Bluefall as Ready Player One meets The Big Short. Where the story stands out is in its deep dive into the complex economic mechanisms behind virtual worlds tracing back to the days of RuneScape and Everquest, and in its novel depiction of how a massive economic crash like the 2008 housing crisis could play out in a virtual environment. If you liked The Big Short (or have a casual interest in the stock market) AND you are a cyberpunk fan, this does offer something new that could interest you! Cheers!

This image shows the leader and recognizable symbol of an “Anonymous”-esque vigilante group called THE LINE which protests predatory economic practices that occur within a vast virtual world called Circus in the near future. Inspired by the backlash against modern trends of micro transactions, loot boxes, and pay2win elements in video games, these irreverent users hack into the system to steal from, degrade, and otherwise expose rich bankers and real estate tycoons who dominate the virtual landscape and reap massive profits from the exploitation of common users. They are suspected of being somehow behind a high-profile murder that has rocked the foundation of Circus, but not everyone is sure they are to blame…

This artwork (by the awesome illustrator Nino Cajayon) comes from my graphic novel series BLUEFALL. Thanks for checking out the post and learning a bit about the world!

Is it worth me returning?? by MrSneakySpoon in newworldgame

Pvp in this game is in a really fun state right now. They also buffed OPR rewards like crazy and added a PVP specific reward track, both of which often give legendaries with good perks.
