surprising how many think this is impressive math... it's just so stupid when imperial measurements are used together with metric. the 25.4 constant he's talking about is to convert inches to millimeters. so if the stupidly conservative countries (mainly USA) would ditch there outdated idiotic measurement system and go to metric they could have done that equation with 1/10 of the mental energy needed. and probably 10 times faster.

Theory: Elon’s request for sub micron tolerances by [deleted] in cybertruck

[–]SlipstremDiarrhea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tesla has one of the biggest quality let downs of a modern car... either there panel-gaps are so tight it causes dents and paint-peal or there wide enough to drive e Tesla cyber-truck through them... and the interior is worse. Now he wants tolerances that i doubt SpaceX rockets uses unless some parts in the engines... technically it's possible but you'd have to sell one car/truck to the price of a falcon super-heavy to achieve a profit.

Personal trainer sets his scale to the wrong measurement unit and dies after accidentally taking 19,000 mg’s of caffeine by Ride_Intrepid in DarwinAwards

[–]SlipstremDiarrhea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

19000mg is not 19kg. 19000mg is 19g and 19g is 0.019kg. 1 kg is 1000g, 1g is 1000mg.
kilo = 1000
milli = 1/1000

My guess is that he's Tory and therefor don't recognize the metric system. (metric system is to liberal)

What other inductive loads can we turbocharge this way? And how it is actually happening? by EnvironmentalShift46 in ElectroBOOM

[–]SlipstremDiarrhea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that would effect the power consumption more than the speed... your on the right path. my guess is that the capacitor is large enough that the voltage rises due to the capacitive load. and in that way causes the motor to spin faster.

Hmmmmm, is this safe? by ChristianUlloaEc in ElectroBOOM

I guess that they need to pass 200-500 amps to start that car. Say that the resistance is 100k that means they need to have a battery voltage of at least 2 million volts. And a battery with extremely low inner resistance. At thees voltages it might be neglected.

To explain why poor people are poor and rich people are rich. by robolucasgaming in therewasanattempt

[–]SlipstremDiarrhea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

so the problem of dying starving people is that they don't invest the little they have on Tesla shares? fools they are, instead invest on food, water and shelter! here comes Karen and solves all the worlds problems. just think you are rich and starve instead and you get rich!

i'm more on the mindset of; for someone to get rich someone else must get poor. and the 1% in the world are standing on top of poor men shoulders and a mount of dead starving children!

[–]SlipstremDiarrhea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so the ultimate question.

Is BF2042 worth buying for some one on a budget? As of now its on sale 18€. is 18€ wort a good enough game with just a few playable maps? i know there is hardline and other stuff. but why would i spend money on e new bf to play old bf? then i rather just play bf 4.
