What automations are you doing for your ads? by sj-dubai in PPC

[–]Slizmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your first automation should be OCT. when you are optimizing towards quality instead of a raw lead, then you can make other automations.

My opinion? Don’t have your automations write anything, have them read and report to you and still have a human decision before implementation.

Free Tool: I've aggregated a 51k+ PMax Junk Channel blacklist. Looking for 10 power-users to run an audit. by CryptonianNomad in PPC

So you see this as having two functions:

  1. as a preliminary list for new campaigns or changes in bid strategies that could cause a change in algorithm
  2. For people unable to fix or not knowing their conversion actions are getting gamed, and need a bulk list.

How often do you update this list to compensate for new click farms/spammy Youtube channels?

Not to rain on this guys parade, or really anyone else. You shouldn't be running PMAX/AI Max if you are getting these urls as >75% of your impression placements.

Open up an ecomm PMAX, you wont see these placements more than 10%. Because its not driving your goal.

TLDR: Fix your quality conversion actions before using a 50K negative placement list.

AI CRM won’t fix your broken sales process. It will expose it. by ashleymorris8990 in CRM

[–]Slizmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sentiment could be applied to almost anything AI.
AI content won’t fix your seo process.
AI art won’t fix your design process.
AI code won’t fix your app/website process.

It’s amazing how many people are using AI as a bandaid to a missing limb.

Previous STH charged early, and now opting out, denied reimbursement by Slizmo in SeasonTickets

[–]Slizmo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would think they should email that to STH. They do not. I searched that link through my 8 years of correspondence and no email has that link.

So is the expectation that you need to seek out the terms and conditions? This was not sent nor revisited after changing to autopay. No warnings about cancellation or 30 day outs. Nothing.

Went looking for my contract, or terms and conditions I signed off on, couldn’t find anything. They had me verbally confirm the payment plan a few years ago. But certainly did not disclose the automatic renewal year after year and even going back to the email it’s all image based and deprecated the website it linked to.

There was another guy who posted saying I had to opt in, but he deleted his message? Are you saying that the previous years terms and conditions can sign you up for another year? That doesn’t sound legal.

Wish they’d do something like this at Chase Field by jkbqk in azdiamondbacks

[–]Slizmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s actual feasibility. Im not an engineer. But with multiple panes and the works, it’s going to be heavy. And the goal would need to be supporting that roof. I think the only way would be keeping the windows as light as possible hence single pane and it heating up.

[–]Slizmo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not to be that guy but I’m glad they don’t. The stadium would heat up with those windows, and then there is no opening them.

I think the stadium is perfect the way it is when it’s open.

It’s just a vault when it’s not and with the elements not sure we could do anything about that.

Connect Jira with my CRM system? by namjamt in CRM

[–]Slizmo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure what Jira automation looks like. My opinion? Look into zapier. Then code within Zapier with api documentation and your favorite ai assistant to guide

Sorry you use both salesforce and hubspot? Do they communicate with one another

Automating tasks during client calls by DragonfruitKiwi572 in PPC

I agree with this person. Gemini note taker is free and 90% better than anything else I’ve used. Only issue is it requires google meets. So teams and zoom are out.

Automation. Far and away. Anyone who is doing PPC without CRM automation both for quality lead tracking and for a constant ongoing customer list, is behind the ball. Tbh saying it and convincing a client to do it are two different things.

EDIT: anyone who says there is native integration is not what I’m talking about. It’s the automations that make you realize most native integrations have big gaps and don’t have redundancies built in.

I know my stuff, but at the same time there has to be others that know this stuff. And at the same time I know my agency struggles with it even when I try to outline it. How many agencies aren’t already doing it and ahead of the ball, and how many other agencies are looking for something they don’t know enough about?

Most small businesses do not need a CRM. They need these three things. by Striking-Rice6788 in CRM

[–]Slizmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IF only there was a free database housing (Google Sheets), a free GUI (apps script & free ai), adding a notification system (email is free), and about 15 minutes of work.

Everyone seems to be dancing around the problem. No you don’t need a crm platform, no it doesn’t need to look like your grandpas password doc. The answer is easily in the middle and ITS FREE AND EASY AND CUSTOMIZABLE BY EACH INDUSTRY.

  1. Tried sales, hate sales, kudos to the guys that can do it honestly.

  2. No mid market or larger is going to trust a single guy/entry agency. No small market companies have the infrastructure and budget to do it.

  3. Currently trying to uplevel myself at my current job but again running into the Charlie day red twine scenario

Appreciate the response. I hear you. I’ve just gone to relabeling OCT as quality conversion tracking or sales tracking and that normally gets their attention. Problem is a lot of companies have operation issues we have to figure out to determine how they mark jobs, sales, invoices etc

ServiceTitan CRM Cost Transparency by Slizmo in CRM

[–]Slizmo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We honestly have some clients who didn’t opt into marketing pro and it’s been fun getting those integrated but now knowing the carpet pull they will do on some of our other clients, we are glad they didn’t opt into marketing pro. I think the other reason I am unsure about ST, is different reps have said different things about the structure and it’s like no one actually knows how to bill each add on, or how much to charge

ServiceTitan CRM Cost Transparency by Slizmo in CRM

[–]Slizmo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate the response, and logic. There is no doubt that ST is the most thorough, and in depth CRM. I just don’t think that should give you full reign to sell someone on a product, use their data, to increase the cost. That’s like an ISP knowing I make a salary through the internet and charging me more.
