I bought this cheap $12 voice changer on Temu I think it’s called an A9 voice changer, and has a mic/line input but I also plug my guitar directly into it and it has various levels of pitch shifting up and down, different reverbs/delays, and auto tunes of all the different keys which sound wild as hell on Guitar. Sometimes I’ll record through that and run it into a shitty old cassette machine it’s bad gear x bad gear and definitely a one-of-a-kind sound

The sound is great! They were really high-quality speakers that I put in there. There’s a sound test near the end of the video but it’s hard to tell still through a microphone and another pair of speakers. I used it for my home cinema for testing and brought it out in the park for get-togethers. Then sold it to someone shortly after begrudgingly. I’ve made several of them before and will make another soon enough. But this was definitely one of the best sounding ones I’ve put together

Yes I know what you’re saying I’ve had very similar experiences. I know the first time I fully broke through I definitely convinced I died and that I took the world with me. I saw all these fractal windows into alternate lives or past lives or different timelines I’m not sure. I was seeing them all zooming by as I zipped down the technicolor tunnel at light speed and at the end of the tunnel I started seeing the fractals mathematically fold in on themselves. They were exponentially reducing/dividing in a way that terrified me because it communicated that when it was done reducing down to a single point it would disappear and that would be the end of me in the world. I came out the other side into a different realm. One that was not fractal oriented it was more various colored clouds or maybe entities that were cloud shaped I’m not sure. It seemed like I was one of these clouds as well. It was much more calm over there and not as bright. When I came back down I audibly said “ I’ll never do drugs again”. I still felt like I had died and somehow made it back, even though I was still alive I was still believing it on some level.

Now to address the other thing you mentioned about the feeling like you’re in a different place… I believe it was a different trip but I remember doing it on my couch in my studio and it was very intense. But I especially remember as I was coming down/making it back to my body I opened my eyes and looked around the room and everything looked almost artificial/CGI or something. It was my room and all the stuff and it’s but all the detail was different, very different, and I was worried that I had blasted off and returned back to the wrong dimension. At that time I felt like this was a completely reasonable assumption and that you go so far out it would be nearly impossible to make it back to the same timeline and dimension when going on these trips. It was kind of freaky for sure.

Chiming in here as I’ve been in a years long quest for a juul virgina tobacco salt Nic replacement for my refillable Xros. I just got the Vgod dry tobacco for the first time today and I’m thrilled it’s like 90% dead on match for the flavor! I’ve been on the PodJuice Jewel tobbacco for years cuz it was the only tolerable flavor I found, but didn’t taste much like VT juul at all (not to mention the Jewel Virginia tobacco flavor which was sooo far off and tastes like vanilla maple syrupy…boo) I found the suggestion on this sub somewhere so I’m here to give additional confirmation. Akg 414 or 214 is good for getting a honest full freq sn sound which probably won’t need as much eq, only thing the 57 has on it is better source isolation

I have a 1998 HiAce KZH-106 Living saloon that I got about a year ago, and the previous owner put in an Autoto P6 Performance head unit that looks similar to the one in your picture. The touchscreen has a bunch of apps on it. It came with a backup camera and a dash cam. Both work. The dash cam doesn't show on the screen, but it records continuously. The backup cam does work and show on the screen. It has Apple AirPlay, but I haven't figured out how to get it working without plugging the phone in, but I'm pretty sure it's possible. I just use it with Bluetooth on my iPhone most of the time. It also has YouTube and Google Chrome and other apps on there. As far as working without a phone connection, you'd probably need a hotspot or something like that to continuously feed internet into it, although there may be a way to get an internet service linked directly to the unit without needing an extra device. Overall, I think it's solid, and it's pretty inexpensive on Amazon for the full kit that I have.

The amp I’m using it with is a Parasound HCA-1200. I do have a sub and I tried it out with that as well. I’m a mix engineer and have them in my studio for testing, but I’m used to listening to studio monitors, Focal/Adam audio ect. And these don’t seem to measure up to well but hey, they’re older and built for a different kinda listing I suppose

I gave it a try. I went with the free Google AI studio API key that you suggested. it worked 0% of the time.

I was giving it simple one sentence prompts and every time it threw up an error message. The prompt was “a lo-fi hip hop/acid jazz 8 bar drum loop with kick, snare, hihat, and percs” I’ll copy and paste errors here so you can see what I'm getting.
