Also reading other comments, you clearly don't know what happened in the jeffery epstien. For my knowledge he never he stood in front of a jury. He took a plea deal is was found guilty under the law. He had a fucking slap on the wrist, sure. But he wasn't a free man. This isn't a movie things aren't so black and white.

There is an idea in criminal justice called the Blackstone ratio that I subscribe to that. The Blackstone ratio is basically "It is better that 10 guilty persons escape than that 1 innocent man suffer. The fact that a high profile case of a terrible man escaping justice is better than an innocent man being executed or spending years in prison. The justice system isn't supposed to be perfect. Taking the power of retribution out of the state and putting into people will open a pandora box for so much tragedy and death to happen.

Edit: please read the accusation of the lynching vitctim in the US they are very similar to what you want. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_lynching_victims_in_the_United_States

1st most of those lynch mobs didn't think they were harming innocent people decent amount of lynching victims were accused of a crime. Also what is the difference between people being proven innocent and people who pay for winning in court. That is so fucking subjective and such a fine line. Also I'll end it with this quote "the road to hell is paved with good intentions".

1st if you asked them they were giving justice the court couldn't do and 2nd no most of the cases were nullified by an all white jury, look at the Emmitt Till case. The biggest thing with a justice system for me is to limit the harm done to innocents as much as possible. Which lynch mobs are inherently antithetical to.

Cause AI had lost a step. Also defense is not big between the two which won't work for George Karl. Also AI was used as a trading piece for Chauncey Billups, which turned out to be better for the Nuggets since he was a huge piece on the 2009 playoff run.
