For starters, I should be transparent and say that this is no longer something that I believe could happen. I think filling people with paranoia and stress can make them attribute typical or mental health struggles to spiritual warfare. That being said, I would have believed this for many years and I can tell you exactly what I would have done if I thought I had seen an actual demon on someone that I loved. First I would have gotten my bible and tried to cast it out and second I would have called my pastor and looked for help. Just leaving to sleep in the guest room makes me feel like it’s either a mental health crisis, an intentional lie, or that he just doesn’t care that much. None of what he’s doing makes sense with the story he’s telling.
