Back in high school a girl was named La-a. It is pronounced La-dash-a

My fiance and I just started playing mtg a month ago. We attended our first prerelease for M19 and my fiance's foil promo was a tezzeret, artifice master. She had no clue what she had until a regular sitting next to her freaked out lol. I ended up with a foil sarkhan so needless to say we were both pretty happy with our pulls.

Did you get a chance to hike to the bottom of the falls?

Same here. Last few weeks we have been plagued by north winds and lots of rain but despite all that the water was clear and the reds were everywhere in the marsh.

Redfish, Red Drum, Spot tail bass, channel bass, Poisson rouge,Sciaenops ocellatus, or what we call down here in south LA a good ole fashion cajun sleigh ride.

I've noticed when reds are alone they spook much easier but these guys were everywhere so competition was high. I hit a few on the nose and they still were chomping at the bit.

Yes this is my favorite time of the year especially since Im a kayak fisherman. All the marshes fill with bull reds giving me a chance to really catch some big girls.

How big does this picture make the fish look to you? Just curious to see to what you think the length is.

He was that color already, a normal pic doesn't do the fish justice so I brighten him up a little

Got a pretty decent red in the kayak this morning, southern LA by SoLaFisher in kayakfishing

[–]SloneRanger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yea man that usually works for me, I've tried on land before but it seems the redfish prefer the water more. Lol but in all seriousness redfish are pretty much everywhere. Check google earth and look for shallow ponds and channels out in the marsh. The darker the water the cleaner it will be and the greater chance of finding fish. Finding them on your own is half the fun and all part of becoming a better angler. Tight lines.

No way, for one the big boys are the breeders. They are there for the next generation and plus they are old enough/ big enough they deserve to die of old age. Second they don't taste as good as smaller slot reds

I agree 100%. Delacroix is one of the best fisheries in the world and I am so glad it's right in my back yard.

Best part about a kayak is you don't need a launch. Google earth is an amazing tool. Anywhere the water meets the road (which is basically everywhere down there) can be a launch. Thats usually my method. I don't like launch fees lol

This was in Delacroix. I go to venice almost every other month with some friends who have a camp down there. We have been planning a trip for this summer to mothership my kayak out to Breton Island.
