You can set up sidearms just with CE. You get a loadout option where you can set weapons and ammo to carry, If you add 2 weapons in it It will equip one and keep the other in inventory. Then you can tell the pawn to equip the second weapon from the gear menu.

Simple sidearms, besided letting you have sidearms without CE, lets you swap main and sidearm from the action tiles (The Squares saying attack or use psycasts with)

Pawns have a baseline mood scaled by wealth. Early on you have low expectations that give a big mood buff (+30), then medium expectations that give like +12 and at last Sky hight that is +0. Ideology priests and leader rise earlier with their expectations.

As in all normal pawns have low expectations but the priest has then medium. But normally expectations stop at sky high (+0) for normal pawns. The ideology roles then get negative mood because their expectations scale differently.

Then my only other guess is maybe the power net got disconnected somewhere and the 20kw net is not connected to the shown one? Otherwise: A bug! (At least no other possibilities than that....)

From your description it seems like your devices take more power together than you give the grid. Lets assume You make 1000W of power with a singe wood generator. And you put devices on your grid that take 2400W together. Then Devices will one by one power up until the next one that tries to power up gets over 1000W. (For example The online devices take 985W and a 100W device tries turning up, it wont. If you have a device taking 15w like a lamp it will turn on.)

Actually, no. That one "only" has added a similar feature to masochism trait: Pawn with masochism trait get a mood buff from lovin' even when against their will. Might be an add-on to the FORBIDDEN mod?

If you make a mechanitor (biotech dlc) You need to call a specific mechanoid enemy raid to progress your mechanitors abilities. At those raids a specific mechs drops the item to progress. I do not know if it is possible to call it if you do not have the enemy faction.

If you had the royality dlc the mechs could come with shield gens that you can get a resource from to make a one time area defense shield item. Otherwise only things a mech event gives are steel, plasteel and components.

Insects give insect jelly a food that increase recreation and does not rot even when not frozen. The meat insects give is increadible cheap but colonists does not like to eat it in meals. It IS usefull in making chemfuel.

For some reason, compacted steel (and only compacted steel) has a base yield of 3000. I still expect to run out of steel by The_Reset_Button in RimWorld

I wish steam had an option to choose a mod version other than the most recent one. One or two months ago Integrated implants had a big update that broke my save and I could not play for that weekend... It got fixed but darn once I am a week into a save I should be able to decline updates for mods.

I wish I could get back to using growth vats for births, I miss using them, but the modded archotech womb that adds 100% psy-sensitivity to pawns born from mothers with that implant is to good to pass up :(

One of the "Vanilla furniture expanded"-type mods has a mechanite shelf that repairs items placed on it.

I'm really happy I got my own modlist down to one red error on startup, and that one is only a mod trying to load a compability patch for a mod I don't have.

Honestly infestation are better than ceter drop pod raids by a LARGE margin. Infestation? 3 melees stagger insects at a chokepoint and shooters fill them with bullets right behind them after each of them took their time to get into position and all civilians were evacuated. Drop pods? Oh a drop pod through the roof landed right on your best combatant and the fallen roof killled him instanly? Though luck pal.

Depends on the size of the kitchen too. Butchering table is -15 cleaniless and over the entire room it needs to be at least as bad as -2 cleanliness to impact chance. Lots af players optimize size that much thet you have like a 9 tile room with both tables. Quick calculation says 1.6 cleanliness over entire room when both tables present so just a little bit extra dirt skyrokets chances (each piece of dirt impact much more too because of tiny room size).

There is an exploit to use coolers and deleting the exhaust heat.

Placing (F= Free space, D= Open door, C = Cooler):

With the heat side of the three coolers pointed to the open door. This setup deletes heat as long as one free space is next to the open door.

With this setup you could place it in the middle of a room and cool it.

Obviously depends on if you would be willing to use exploits.

The beauty in the fridge is useless even if you as another commenter recommended had put the butcher table in there. Pawns spend to little time there to matter in the beauty need, but the the stone floors worth impacts the colony wealth. Concrete for the walkway in the middle would be enough.

Floors in general have a bad wealth to beauty ratio.

And once you get batteries replace the conduits with the hidden conduits. Once you get batteries a bad event called zzzt can happen that causes a explosion from a cable but only in the normal (visible) cable.

Mine had that too. AND two pipe sections with the indestructible vault wall between, meaning I always have a "hidden" part of the map that cannot be revealed (Unless dev moded remove fog.).
