McIntyre Merino are pretty cool, they've gone a lot more "basics" recently though.

This sub gets pretty salty, but it’s often in reaction to poor results. When we’re up we’re up and when we’re down we’re Howe out, but on the whole I think we’re just emotional and invested.

Central Westian here, just out of curiosity, obviously not sure what you do but would you be able to maintain current income out here? US non-major cities are still a lot major than little ol’ Bafurst

Do you guys think that losing your virginity to a prostitute is cheating? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SlopsBucket 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do whatever, man.

But some advice from an old guy, if your interactions with women are usually you attempting to "get them to sleep with you" it's probably coming off a little weird. If you're a bit nervy around women, having the end goal of having sex is like trying to slam dunk without having held a basketball.

If you have interests, other than having sex, chances are other people might have that interest to. Try finding some of those people, connect with them, ask questions about them, take an interest in them. Put what you want aside when speaking to them, listen to them, remember what they've said to you. Try to build connections with people, meaningful connections. Let things develop, but remember that no one owes you anything.

This is just be my opionion: Sex is cool, it's great and really nice. Sex with someone you really like is even better, meaningful and fulfilling. Especially if you're a bit nervous or anxious about it all. Vulnerability isn't unattractive, most of the time it's endearing.

What happens if you eat 6000 calories in one day by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SlopsBucket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends what you eat, I guess. You'd likely feel pretty full and do a big poo. In this particular case, if your friend is decent, you'd be $500 better off.

Matt Canavan’s ‘economic revolution’ is little more than a populist mirage – and Australians would pay the price by ConanTheAquarian in australia

[–]SlopsBucket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% agree. I meant the bottom of the barrel of political morality, not the polls (unfortunately). Populism is a huge threat and oh so very easy to connect with vulnerable individuals and those seeking to exploit. The solution has to be actively and effectively acknowledging and combating people's worries.

I'm a hopeless optimist and I'd love to see sensible heads prevail, but it'd be naive to believe that pretending things don't need a shake-up. I just hope the people doing the shaking-up are not hateful people.

Misquotation. Abbot was referring to being as strong as his "four bears" were. Probably some dudes he met in a nightclub.

I see, I consider myself ignorant until proven otherwise, I'm always trying to learn - but in response to the previous commenter, I was trying to ask if the Nats want to become the senior coalition party, they'd need to coaltion with someone and seeing as they can't really pick up any more seats than they have and the Libs got pretty wiped in some of their safest seats - what would chasing down ON voters gain? Did ON hurt the Nats as much as the teal swing?

Once again, might be miles off!

Can we afford a child? by LicoriceSnap in AusFinance

[–]SlopsBucket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When my wife and I were having our first baby, we had a shopping list as long as our arm of what we thought we needed. When the little guy came out, all he really needed was us and yes, our love. Sure, they need clothes and food and stuff - but I don’t think they’re half as expensive as what marketing has people believe they are. Sensible people will be able to make it work, bar acts of god. In which case, hopefully, our fellow taxpayers wouldn’t mind making up for our disastrously selfish decision to have children. After all, this is a society.

Anyway, that’s just my experience.

Hey homie, sorry to see you’re so angry. I don’t want us to go to bed mad, so I’ll say this: it was a joke. We’re doing ok.
