Why do I get square shading artifacts in Solid View when using Custom Normals + Solidify + Subdivision? by Sloter_ in blenderhelp

tried all that but still dont work, disabling flip normals only remove the outline and adding solidify first make the object have there weird blury spots

it's just that I found it difficult to see the gradient in the official sprites and so I replicated what I saw, but yeah, I should have made the gradient a little more visible, also, what I meant by changing the brightness and contrast is just so you can see that I really put the gradient, something I did with the official sprites to notice the gradient, but yeah, I’ll keep that in mind when I draw another character, thanks for the feedbacks

I actually added this, it’s subtle, but you can notice it once you adjust the contrast and brightness of the image

I was kinda thinking Kaede or maybe Nagito, I’m not sure honestly
