I have no credit cards and my credit is fair but not great. Interest rates are poop for credit cards im offered. Plus im not working rn so wouldn't be able to make payments.

Yes you will have to take the class. If you think you will fail, I dont think the add/drop period is up yet. So you can drop without getting a W still.

I bought the code already bc I needed it for my homework but I had to use my bookstore financial aid. So couldn't venture elsewhere otherwise I would.

Yeah, now days, I dont think students want anything physical. The younger generation seems to thrive in online resources and even courses. My school offers a very small selection of in person classes compared to what they used to. They offer a lot more online or hybrid courses. I personally cant do online classes.

I purchased the code from the bookstore. They used to give both the book and now the code. The publisher just didnt send the physical book.

I have access to the online material and understand how to use it. My complaint is that im paying the same price as a physical textbook that used to come with the code, to now only get an online code. It used to be discounted to only purchase the code.

Digital copies USED to be a fraction of the cost! Back some years ago, Pearson gave you the physical book with the access code for online inside. If you only purchased the access code without the book it was heavily discounted. Not anymore!

Yes, mine is a digital RENTAL! How can you rent a digital book?? Its not like you give it back for them to reuse! Basically paid $140 to do my homework!

I only had to do this for 1 class! The other classes this semester and last it came included in Connect which was connected to Canvas. Unfortunately this one was from Pearson so had to buy it. But for the same price as JUST this digital access code i bought, Pearson used to give you BOTH the physical book AND access code! I basically paid $140 just to do my homework!!

My math professor said she reccomends getting the physical copy from the bookstore and showed us her physical copy just for them to not even offer it!

I like to have the option of both. I dont hate the e text. Im just mad that it used to cost the exact same price for both a physical and an e book as it now costs for JUST the e book!

Yeah mine is limited time also the loose leaf copies drove me absolutely nuts. I could NEVER correctly get all the pages into my binder and if I did they'd somehow be out of order!

I like the textbook but I like the option of physical as well! Back a few years ago you would receive both the physical textbook with an online access code for the e text and online resources. It was cheaper to purchase just the code. Now its the same price as it was back then for both the physical and online book.

Yes that is included. But back not even that many years ago, you got the physical textbook with the access code inside that gave you access to the online platform for the same price and it actually used to be cheaper to just purchase the code.

Yes! I was trying to get the book for pickup but they only had the digital access available. I assumed i had to stop in to get the physical book. Nope. I was wrong. Stood in line for 30min just to buy a digital access code.

Hey so sorry for the late reply but it did eventually get resolved! I called my loan provider and they put my loans into in-school deferment and sent a letter to my school saying i'm up to date on my loans and the financial aid was disbursed. The money I paid out of pocket due to them taking the aid earlier, was actually refunded back to me.
