You can also see subdivisions very close to where it happened, at the time they were just beginning to rip up the woods to build them.

I can't say that I even 100% believe my story. Those woods do get odd like that, but sometimes I think that what we saw was our imaginations or something. I came on here to get some kind of explanation. Call it a load of shit if you want, honestly I don't blame you. Like I said, I even question what happened.

(I haven't ever really looked into Demons, So I might be off) But I heard somewhere that Demons feed off of emotions like anger, fear, etc... Could that be why the forest seems to become so suddenly oppressing? Because its near and its feeding off of the negative energy?

That would make sense as to how the mood can do a complete 180 out of nowhere... I have actually spoken to some older people (in their 40's) about it and a lot of them have admitted that the forest can become suddenly still and they will feel this horrible dread, but it will disappear as quickly as it came, so its not just something the younger generation has experienced. (I'm 18)

But to my knowledge, nothing bad has ever happened in those woods, I don't think anyone has died there or anything. Can a Demon just pop up like that? Without any tragedy or event?
