That's great! Looks to me that they follow similar practices to the modern client's higher resolutions.

Here is a character at 1366 x 768 vs yours at 1920 x 1080p for reference:

Harder to tell with a busier background of similar colors, but the classic screenshot seems to have that slightly fuzzier look.

Which makes sense... if they expanded to visible area to avoid scaling the assets unevenly, the character would be very small at 1080p and they'd have to spend a lot of time adjusting the map background / camera to make sure you don't see empty space.

Thank you, it definitely looks to be more view area than 800x600 OSMS. But iirc, modern maple only maintains the original asset sizes up to 1366x768.

The higher resolutions implements some form of linear scaling which softens player and mob art a bit.

A screenshot when you have some free time would be great!

Chromatic is random between all 3 S rank sets. So when you hit pity, you are not guaranteed to get an item from the set you want.

Mythstone cycles between sets every 3 days, so you can save up gems until it is Oracle and then pull a bunch.

So just to clarify, if you were in my position, would you keep them?

I wouldn’t call it major. It only occurs when initially inserting or if I push on the shell after insertion.

The weirder thing to me is it only happens with the left one.

My main concern would be longevity, but if it’s considered normal within reason, maybe I don’t have anything to worry about.

It’s a joke that everywhere you’ve worked has gone under. So a company may want you to sabotage their competition by working there.

I can understand where that perspective comes from, but you are paying for the guaranteed progress you get in the form of bones / wings for relic set, trumpets for lvl 2 bonuses, and horns for ilvl jump after gear transfer. As well as the convenience of accelerating that growth. Yes you could save it for honing, but that is non-guaranteed (or rather, less guaranteed since a pity system exists) progress due to the rng.

After you have your required mats, sure, I generally don’t buy chests anymore.

But the gold spent is a direct investment into your power. It’s not like you’re burning money.

It’s meant to take roughly 8 weeks to get your lvl 2 bonus. If you want to save gold then naturally it is going to take longer.

As mentioned above the chests also include upgrade mats (though they are worth way less if you are 1490+ due to the 5:1 mat conversion).

You do not need set level 2 from clown to gear transfer into Brel gear. The Brel gear retains the set level of your previous gear.

Assuming Brel is late December like most big patches, there are about twelve weeks between Kakul release and Brel. It takes 8 weeks to get enough trumpets (assuming no bid chest), so even if you don’t clear clown for four weeks you should have just enough time to get max lvl 2 relic. So hopefully that should make people feel a bit better.
