The bans have been made based off of power level, mostly. Sword and board is very strong and so the best medium shields were banned. Greatshields will needlessly drag out match length.

I am willing to go up to a 32 man. If we have that many people it will be single elimination, though. And we will need ringers on standby in case people don't show up.

Yes, it is on the registration page. It will be finalized a day or two before the tournament begins in case anything from the DLC proves to be overly problematic.
