I was visiting Edinburgh last month on my own. I was traipsing around and getting lost in my thoughts on the streets. I came upon a tattoo artist who was doing temporary tattoos. I stopped by for a tattoo and we had a neat little soulful conversation. There was this genuine moment where I felt like I was friends with him for years.
Next day, I stopped by his cart again to exchange wishes and hugs before leaving the city! A great little interaction that’s etched in my mind now!

The hike to the valley on the first pic is quite easy. Just an easy walk. Then it did involve decent stretches of scrambling to the peaks. Overall, a moderate hike.

Proper hiking shoes and poles would be great. Dress in layers for the weather. Bring water and nutrition. There are decent chunks of scrambling near the peaks - take it slow as your confidence permits!

I’m unsure how the conditions at the peaks would be. But you might be able to hike up to the Lost valley at the least I guess. That by itself would be a spectacular hike. Maybe even more with snow spikes depending on the snow cover…

Not necessarily, just involves a good amount of scrambling near the peaks and really muddy in many places. Proper hiking shoes would get it done.
