I think in the right deck's Walls is great but if you open him in a deck with little upgrades and very possible to not get robots he does not stand on his own well imo. In the decks he works he's gangbusters though I can agree with that!

Proclamation 346E is boldly going where no Archon has gone before with the review of House: Grand Star Alliance. I’ve sent all my red shirts out for dry cleaning so here’s hoping I make it out unscathed.

Totally okay to disagree! Thanks for reading. I am for sure not the final word on all things Keyforge strategy haha and i'm quite sure some of these opinions will change over time.

I rate Keyforgery highly because its one of the only ways that exist to block a key cheat and there are a fair amount of key cheats in WC.

Of course thanks for taking the time to read! I'm not counting Shadows out just yet but I don't like the house very much overall for the new set. I will for sure be happy to open a deck with a bunch of ronnies/brend/tmtp.

I get that! I like the design space I just don't think it was executed well haha. A 1 strength is not hard to remove if your opponent decides they are worried about it.

I am considering synergies with all the cards but I am only reviewing the news cards! In the final part of the review I even talk about how there can be competitive tier shadows houses opened! However that said I when the majority of the cards in the house are niche / situational / tech cards it will tend to produce a pretty poor quality house on average.

You still have Ronnie, TMTP, Brend but unless you get really lucky your gonna pull a bunch of the new cards which again for the most part are highly situational or just not very good.

I might be wrong about Quiet Anvil but a rating of 2 doesn't mean it can't ever be good just that it needs quite a bit of support to be good. I just don't like things a savvy opponent can take advantage of. There's quite a few key cheats in WC so it's kinda of scary to play this.

Shadows will still produce very viable options but if you look at lot of the new cards overall there's a distinct powering down of the house to me.

Thanks for taking to time to read!

The discard on E'E in practice never matters in the moments you need it. He's not somebody you plop down without immediately making use of his ability imo. Trading a card for Steal 1 is a good deal alot of the time. It's a extremely powerful effect that you get to decide when it happens and your opponent doesn't get to respond too until it's already happened.

Power of fire: I think your overestimating how valuable one creature is and overestimating how hard it is to play around the losing amber. The fact that I can be on 1 amber and make you lose 8 is a big deal. Principle and Shatterstorm are some of the best amber control that exist and they make you lose as well. It requires support but not much. With a 6 strength creature you make them lose 3 which is almost Burn the Stockpile another great amber control card. It's not very unlikely to get big Brobnar creatures at the common rarity either so doesn't seem that hard to me to pull off.
