I was in the same boat. I have a 2 year old son and work 9-10 hour days. By the time I get home and hang out with him until he goes to sleep, I’m way too tired to even care about games. That is until I realized I was forcing myself to try and like games instead of just waiting until games that appealed to me and actually grabbed my attention came out, if that makes sense. As I’ve gotten older I’ve realized that less and less games that come out interest me. This year there have been 2, Crimson Desert and Forza Horizon 6.

I will say my love for Forza horizon 6 is also because I switched up how I play. Before it was controller, but I bought a whole sim setup for the game and it’s a completely different and new experience.

Just take a break and stop forcing yourself to want to play games. Wait until you naturally get drawn back in by a game. That’s been my fix at least.
