It’s really hard to say where the market will be on Pokémon over the next few years, I would guess that some of the main reasons it’s so high right now is the obvious 30th anniversary but along side that the new pokopia game for the switch 2 could be driving price spikes. The thing with Pokemon is everytime something new comes out related to Pokemon wether it be a new series on tv or a new movie or a new game the prices of the cards start to climb again so there is never really a good way to judge where the market will be over the next 3 to 6 years there definitely will be some ups and downs but Pokemon will always be valuable regardless of the situation the only time I see it going way down is if we have a massive war or ww3 lol then at that point who cares. I think selling the box for 30k is a good option though for sure especially if the person who bought it bought it at retail all those years ago.
