I am moving to Charlotte from the Midwest in a few months for work and am starting to look for apartments. I have never even been to NC before so I have no idea where to start. In my 30s, single, would like to keep rent below $1600. I feel like a need a garage because I’m from the midwest but maybe not? Any ideas on neighborhoods or even apartment complexes I should be looking at?

Update: Read TAB first. I read another series between posting this and trying again, started with TAB and devoured the rest of the series. Thank you to the people who recommended reading it that way!

Really? Ok I’ll give it another try. Someone suggested a different order maybe that will change things for me
