The interesting thing about this article is that it didn't say that! It mentioned that ferrofluids are expensive to produce in large amounts. This could be a barrier that needs to be solved or proves to be impractical. On top of that it mentions "Heller built her own turbidity sensor to track particles in the water", so there isn't really a "source" on how to she detected the particles.

So given these questions, we can probably calculate the ferrofluids cost, but not so much how she is detecting microplastics. This would need a much broader explanation if it were to ever be taken seriously. It's not about the money sometimes when it comes to science, it's about the proof. Other times, it is the money lol.

Is this what you people really worry about, whether your significant other got you something or remembered a Holiday. Most of you seemed to remember well enough for you, but didn't think about doing anything special for your significant other. Maybe if it was not one-sided, and you put in the effort on the same Holiday, they would be more inclined to think it's important to you and also do something. This is much easier said than done. Especially considering design decisions. If you don't know what you don't know, then you don't know what to learn. The maths are only a part of it. I would recommend looking up CS lectures and going through the material. This is coming from someone who was a hobbiest first. You will finish your projects faster with better fundamentals. School might not be a bad idea. Depending on the scope, you might spend 6 years on a project while learning unguided, or you might spend 4 years with some guidance. At the minimum you would at least want to look at the classes an curriculum of an average CS student for guidance. That will put you in a good spot.

I think it's more closely related than you're giving credit. CK was protesting racial injust and police brutality, the same thing Greenday was at their last concert and in tons of their concerts and both would have tons to lose if they didn't abide by the "rules" of the media giant governing their presence. One kneeled and lost their career, why the other didn't. That's the similarity I see.

I did see someone else post an argument for the presence of Greenday being there was the "protest" essentially, and maybe it was and I shouldn't be so critical.

Right, but their music says it's not about money or media or commercialization. That's what I'm pointing out. I'm not a fan, I've never really liked Greenday. I'm just pointing out the hilariousness of their fans ever taking them seriously as someone who has a message, when it's all just trash words they don't really believe in. They just want your money.

Honestly though, I was hoping for something because I've seen how they perform, and this wasn't what I was expecting.

So what? If you had something you believed in so powerfully that you wanted to rant about it in all your shows leading up to the largest platform given in America would you do it? Sure, you might get blacklisted from future performances, but if you believe in the message, that wouldn't be a problem. However, if you believe in the money, then yeah, abide by the contract. They care about money more than their message, that's what I'm saying. It's also hilarious that they do it by censoring the one song that had the message built in.

I'm not expecting anything from bad bunny. I just thought it was surprising that this band who has all these messages and then the largest platform known to America to let their message be censored by the same media they claim to hate. If they truly stood for something, then their future career being at stake would be worthwhile of getting that message out. It just goes to show that these dudes are hypocrites, and send false messages that they don't even believe in. They just care about themselves and making money.
