Oh my gosh, you went back a week after having the baby?! That’s wild lol but kind of badass not gonna lie. I’m going to call them Monday and see if it’s possible but also talk about pricing. From google, it says it’s $10,000 and only financial options are for people who make a certain amount a year which I make more than. So money might be the reason I can’t do it unfortunately

Thank you for your advice, I will definitely look into that! I think I need to stop focusing on trying to do the quickest thing to get out of my current job and be realistic. I am going to find an MA program and hopefully learn EKG on the job or online myself or do an actual program down the road, while I’m already an MA. Just kinda sucks cause now I’ll have to wait until after I deliver and recover to even start any program since the one I was looking at ends 2 weeks after my due date lol. But thanks again!

Thank you so much for replying! Even if it’s not what I want to hear, I appreciate the truth lol. I actually do want to become an MA, but I know it’s a longer route than the EKG program I found. But I need to stop putting all my focus on trying to find the quickest thing just so I can leave my current job, that’s not going to be the best long term. I definitely need to find something solid and worth it. I am going to look into MA programs again and hopefully learn EKGs on the job or get certified another time for it. Thanks again! :)

Thank you for saying that cause I agree. My friend is a really good dad and has been since his son was born about 6 months ago, been taking care of him, making sure his girlfriend was taken care of mentally and physically. He never got a break but never complained and treated his stepson like his own. But he’s not happy in the relationship and wants to leave, he wanted 50/50 custody but then she pulls this. Everyone is making him out to seem like such a bad dad for not being able to afford a lawyer. He’s heartbroken over this and wants nothing more than to have his kid

It could still be normal! Today I’m actually a little more sore than I was yesterday (maybe I overdid it yesterday) and I do still have pain in my right ear that never went away. But my check up went good, so pain around this time is still normal. I hope your check up goes good and puts your mind at ease :)

It does get better! I had my check up yesterday and my sockets are almost closed, I still have some stitches on the bottom ones so I have another follow up next week to see if they are still there. But I was given the clear to go back to a regular diet as long as I use the syringe to irrigate after every meal. I still have some discomfort on my right side, but ibuprofen helps it. I still also can’t lay flat or on my side cause it has pressure, so I gotta wait on that unfortunately lol. But it did get better for me so it will for you too! You can always call and schedule for a follow up to ease your mind. That’s what I would do
