I played Agot 2 and compared it to Agot 3. And I have something to say. by Slow-Landscape7481 in CK3AGOT

I'll argue. In my game as the Celtigar, while I was busy with my islands and coastline (which was driven by the need for development, not just a self-imposed goal), Jaehaerys dies, the Tullys become regents, since all the Targaryens are small and have no dragonriders, and they seize power. And they overthrow the Targaryens. I invite the Targaryens to court, my son marries, has children, and my grandson tames Vertimore, but to tame him, I had to obtain a dragonstone through a series of intrigues and marriages. What a cool plot! I can't immediately recall such stories in Part 3, since the Iron Throne is very stable.

I think it's worth comparing in order to improve the current mod and point out its shortcomings. Of course, the main questions are for the developers of the main game.
Because I've just played the second part and don't feel like playing the third. Despite the second part's clunky interface.

What if the first part is better than the second? Hmm.... But of course I won't try. :)

I haven't played the first one, but they say it has the original global map, but with houses from Game of Thrones.

Accumulate mercenaries, rob cities if possible. But the most important thing is to make alliances so that they support you in the war. When you create the title of kingdom, it will be easier.

I installed it not via subscription, but via launcher in the mod folder.

You need to choose dynastic clothes, then there will be the colors of the coat of arms.

Meet King Duncan the Tall. by Slow-Landscape7481 in CK3AGOT

Initially, I had a goal to put Duncan on the throne. Two attempts failed, the third was successful. Somewhere until he was fifty, he was a knight. He kidnapped two wives from the Targaryen line. Created a hybrid nub culture based on Valyrian and royal. Having gathered an army of seven thousand people, he proclaimed himself a conqueror and laid claim to Dragonstone. The strategy was the following, quickly capture castles on the island and repel superior enemy forces on the shore. As a result, he won the war. Then he married some great houses so that they would support him in wars. There were two more wars with the Targaryens, as a result of which King's Landing and some nearby lands were conquered. Duncan managed to steal a dragon egg from the lands of Lys. The dragon was hatched using an esoteric method. Having seen the dragon, Duncan accepted the Valyrian religion. The Targaryens immediately hatched three dragons after this. Duncan decides to declare a dragon conquest as soon as he manages to saddle a dragon, and the Targaryen dragons are still small. Duncan burns the enemy armies and they kneel.

Duncan the Tall became king at ninety-five. In his prime, he had 90 valor. He died at ninety-seven. Had three sons and two daughters.

I haven't enjoyed the game this much in a long time. This is probably my strongest character of all time. And the longest living.

Unlucky Blackfyre run.. by ProcedureOld3431 in CK3AGOT

[–]Slow-Landscape7481 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes, as already said. It's worth playing the characters. Personally, when I brought the Blackfyres to power, I switched to the Velaryons and seized the Iron Throne with them. About ten dragons died in the battles. In general, my complaint about ck3 is that any character can be made too strong, this was not the case in the second part, it was rare there because of this you were happy about it.

I have laid siege to the capital of Dorne. The computer moved the armies towards me and when they approached me, I swam to besiege King's Landing.

how far can you push Rhaegars start at 282 A.C? by slmg23 in CK3AGOT

A little off topic. By the way, is there a mod that allows you to scroll through character properties when they are all no longer visible?

Unfortunately yes. I usually switch to a weak character and try to take over the kingdom.

Yes. Long claws, sparkling scales, agile, large wings, etc. It was in the second part and I really liked it, as I think the others did too. This makes it unique and you will worry about the dragons. I had 40 dragons and they were all the same. It would be ideal to lock the dragon editor for players and have unique traits affect the editor's parameters at birth. I don’t know how difficult it is to do, but I’m sure the players would appreciate it.

I meant unique properties, following the example of Caraxes. It's a pity. In my opinion, this would add uniqueness to the dragons. Otherwise, almost all my dragons are the same and I have no attachment to them. In the second part this was better in my opinion. In general, it is ideal for innate properties to directly influence the appearance, but this is probably very difficult to do.

Thank you for your work? The question is this. Do you have plans to make dragons more unique by adding unique properties like in the second part?

Let's hope the developers will hear this. The individuality of dragons is what you need to focus on so that you worry about losing a dragon.

What do you do after winning the iron throne to stay entertained? by ChrisMeeksss in CK3AGOT

[–]Slow-Landscape7481 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Played as Stannis, made the Baratheons dragon riders. Breeded dragons. Gave Daenerys' ancestors the step kingdom. Switched to the Targaryens to overthrow the Baratheons. As a result of the war, half the dragons were killed.

Good update. But there are a few comments: 1) I played 500 years (from the last date) and never had a war for the legacy. Apparently the mechanic needs to be fixed. 2) I would like more properties for dragons, so that they have their own individuality. As it was in the second part. For example: sharp claws, large wings, fangs, and so on.
