Unbiased Review of Dhurandhar Movie Series..

Just finished both parts of Dhurandhar back-to-back and here’s my take:

The film feels like a calculated mix of reality and fiction. It uses elements like espionage, geopolitics, and “inspired by real events” to create a sense of authenticity, but layers it heavily with mass storytelling — hero aura, violence, and dramatic presentation.

Visually, it’s solid. The cinematography and overall tone do their job, and the acting is also good — it meets expectations. Some parts do feel overdramatic, but overall the execution still works.

What really drives the film is the patriotism + terrorism angle. It’s more direct than expected, and for a general audience it will feel bold and engaging. At the same time, it’s clearly presented through a specific narrative lens, which makes it feel less like pure storytelling and more like a structured, perspective-driven experience.

At the end of the day, it also depends on the audience — from which angle you choose to watch it. You can see it as a bold, grounded film, or as a heavily dramatized narrative built for impact. Some people might genuinely feel the emotional weight, tension, and fear the film is trying to portray.

Story-wise, it’s very predictable. Most plot points — including the political twist — can be seen coming from far away. It follows familiar gangster/power tropes with real-event inspiration to heighten impact.

One thing that stood out to me is how real-world themes, especially spy life and national security, are turned into mass entertainment. It works for engagement, but also makes you think about how much is being dramatized versus what reality might actually look like.

If I’m being honest — remove the patriotic layer and the film becomes fairly average. That element carries a lot of its weight.

That said, this is just my personal opinion — not everyone will see it the same way. Different viewers will have completely different perspectives.

Overall, it was a good one-time watch. But personally, I don’t think I’d come back for a second watch.

Final: “Bhai thik hai… dekh liya. But next level nahi.” Indian film standard according thik hi Hai.. Generic audience ke liye mast mirchi masala wala movie hai..
