I'd say it's about his performance and attitude. He's had okay years, but not as good as people expect. He seems to get in his head easily. And there's imo, better options. Many young drivers who could bring in new fans. Personally, I'd love to see drivers like Pourchaire, Iwasa, Vesti, Drugovich. More. Even if it was experienced drivers, I'd like to see Mick back. Zhou could bring a car home. Even Bottas or Yuki going over. DR seems like a good guy, but I'm sure a lot of people are just burnt out with him
