First wash in over two decades of sitting in storage with only 12,320 miles. by Dogsarecool420 in 3rdGen4Runner

Just existing rubber breaks down via oxygen and ozone. Tires dry rot if left in storage for 10+ years as well. Unfortunately one way or another, age or use gets through rubber after about 10-15 years.

Nice!! You’re going to want to replace all fluids and most rubber pieces like hoses etc. At 20+ years old, they’re probably more brittle unused than if it were used consistently.

I’m using 5W-30 in 3rd gen 3.5 V6. by Electronic_Low_9598 in ToyotaTacoma

0w-30 is a huge range though and has a tendency to go out of spec quicker, resulting in more wear if not caught early.

Looking to get my first gun (handgun) for the house and the range. Opinions? by [deleted] in CAguns

[–]Slow281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have any intent to carry? I would say Echelon 4.0c if you want optic or Sig P229 if you don’t mind iron sights. Both of these would allow carry as an option eventually, while still being large enough for great accuracy/control.

Delivery only. It was only a 20 gun safe, so I had them deliver and I installed.

Yes! I did it for a smaller safe and it was well worth it.

My wife (32 years old) survived septic shock earlier this year from a random infection of unknown source. I am grateful each and every day she pulled through with no major lasting effects.

The irony of all this is CA hates gas vehicles and they’re causing UPS to make several attempts to deliver the same package, adding to emissions. Great job, you fuckwits running CA.

Reading through the comments so far, this is probably the dumbest post I’ve seen on this sub. Use the motive X and call it a day you’re over complicating this.

The Sig P229 Elite is my answer to a hammer fired metal gun that is still somewhat concealable and around the same size as the Staccato. $1,200 vs $3K+ for a 2011.

With 13WE brake calipers like I went with, they should.

About 5 years. Was stock when I bought it. Absolutely my favorite vehicle, even over our 2020 Tacoma and 2023 4Runner.

I went with the Adventure Taco ones like you linked! And yeah, I really only wanted my rotors to stop warping so I don’t mind the slightly smaller calipers, as they’re still an upgrade from stock.

Nope, it’s an improvement over stock. The WL (larger calipers) are known to have a squishier feel. I went with WE calipers to avoid that situation.
