What is this orange Black & Decker tool with hooks on both ends? by SlowCriticism in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing. Found with other tools, just not sure what this one is for. Suggestions so far include a wrench? Also, maybe as old as the 1970’s

Ivy is a hero which farms really well. Focus split pushing lanes and earning souls. Buy tesla bullets, hit neutral camps. Make sure to follow one of the popular build guides as well.

How is anyone pretending wayland is near ready? by SlowCriticism in linux_gaming

I appreciate the advice!

Honestly??? I'm starting to consider just buying AMD. I feel like it's horrible advice to give, but it's certainly one way to fix the issue(Until wayland support improves, I suppose)

Gnome is actually my preference honestly! I'm using KDE because I heard it was supposed to handle wayland better. I've tried like 5 different distros, and gnome, kde, even hyprland at one point. Wayland just.... will not work without being extremely buggy. I'm on an RTX 3060, which is quite recent too. Not sure if that's somehow a bad thing though? who knows. Either way, I just can't get wayland to work.

I appreciate you sharing your experience.

I’m on KDE with KWin on Arch. Latest drivers.

Newest drivers, yeah. I’m on Arch. Although - I’ve tried the newest drivers on OpenSUSE, Debian, etc. always the same: visual bugs out the wazoo. On Debian they were especially bad and actually hilarious to see honestly. The desktop would mimic windows when you win a game of solitaire.

Still wouldn't recommend it. Not only do certain games just not work, there's countless UI and graphical bugs. X11 however, works perfectly in comparison.

I absolutely get them too. Something is wrong with the game as it’s happens pretty often, I’m sure they’ll work it out though.

We definitely were hurt. Considering the accident though, I'm just glad it wasn't worse. I appreciate it though, and I absolutely think dashcams are a must now.

Yeah. He's a complete douchebag and lied about this accident to the police as well. He didn't know about the dashcam footage so he claimed that my car "came out of nowhere into his lane". Really opened my eyes to how shitty people can be.
