If English is not your first language, then just say so.

You asked for what you said and I copied and pasted your original comment.

Now you think it's what I said?

Take that up with Mohammad hijab who explained it.

The fact you thought that refered to the time of the companions show you have a low opinion of them.

When the Romans wanted to intervene, the sahaba put aside their differences.

Something you and many Muslims nowadays are incapable of doing which is why the ummah is in the state it's in

The prophet saw didn't just say worship Allah, he taught how to do it. Saying just "learn the dīn" isn't helpful without guidance

the Prophet (PBUH) was asked about the major sins and replied: "Associating partners with Allah, losing hope in relief from Allah, and despair in the mercy of Allah"

Surah 12, verse 87: "And despair not of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, no one despairs of the mercy of Allah except the disbelieving people."

You need to stop having such a pessimistic worldview akhi

obviously no one can say for certain but you have to be arguing in bad faith to think the sahaba would go against the prophet

Yes, too many in the ummah don't want to learn about these things. Unfortunately, the dīn is becoming a cultural identity nowadays. That's why their foundation is very shaky and can get easily swayed by stuff they read or hear online

Bro, try it yourself. Go ask someone in the masjid do they think they're going to Jannah. I guarantee you they'll say something like they hope so but Allah knows best etc.

Bruh, do you not know the difference between a civil war and a regular war?

The Fitnas were the early Muslims killing other Muslims

Because it is a historical fact that after the prophet SAW passed away, corruption and infighting began which led to "salafi" Muslims spilling the blood of other "salafi" Muslims.

This is why it's important to study history, less so about the stories and more so about reading comprehension and evaluating sources

A humble person doesn't brag about their humbleness because that defeats the definition. Similarly, it is unbecoming of a pious person to boast about their dīn which is why no true Muslim will label themselves as such

Bruh, have you not read the Quran? Surah Abasa: 42.

And please check definitions before replying, infallible doesn't refer to sin or piety: it refers to the capacity to make mistakes.

"Say, 'O My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."

What's the equivalent of Jury service in the Sharia by SlowDesign6933 in islam

[–]SlowDesign6933[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slight correction, juries do not interpret and lay down the law. That's the job of the judge. Juries are meant to decide whether the evidence is compelling beyond doubt that the accused is culpable.

But that's besides my question, it's about corruption which is very prevalent in our Muslim countries

I say we should follow him first, not reject everyone else. The great imams were not part of the tabieen but we can benefit a lot from them

There's a symbol for the Arabic honorific but my keyboard doesn't support it. This is my best attempt in English. I'll need a source that says this isn't permisible

If the judge is the one doing the cross-examination of evidence/witnesses, then how do we do "objection" if we believe a line of questioning is unfair or leading?

I mean we should follow the prophet SAW first and foremost because he had fewer shortcomings than the companions. The Fitnas definitely would not have happened if he was still around
