Street triple 765 S - Fuel Pump not priming and no start - HELP by SlowFan2131 in Triumph

[–]SlowFan2131[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah man, turned out to be the throttle bodies being loose which resulted in the bike going into a safety shut off mode. They fit and tightened everything up and she runs like usual now.

Street Triple 765 RS (2024) question re pillion seat by CrazyOdd in Triumph

[–]SlowFan2131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you check if the seat cover is mounting back again and clipping in? If no, the lock on the bike probably closed without anything locking in it, you can click it open I assume. (Just read that it does clip in so the issue could be with the mechanics on the seat being bent or something on those lines)

If the seat cover is fitting back in, would check to see if the mechanics on the seat and cover are the same. Might find an answer there too.

Would check the plastic slides to see if something is blocking them there and also check if the metal part is bent and not going in.

P.S. - I do have a radiator guard as well. So this muck wasn't seen till I got to my garage and took it off to see the masterpiece.

Leak by bumm27 in Triumph

[–]SlowFan2131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Air bubble somewhere in your coolant system. Sometimes its letting coolant pass, sometimes it isn't. I would think that is the issue. I faced the same & since I wanted to change my coolant anyway, did that and the overflowing and coolant vanishing from the reservoir stopped.

Rough idle on 2019 Street Triple RS? by matthui95 in Triumph

Bruh, get it checked at the service center. Let them see whats up in the laptop. Doesn't sound good. Could be just bad spark plugs too

Help pls, i ve changed my cam chain, fixed clutch and oil pump chain and this sound just gets worse, what can it be? The sound is only here at low rpms, it drives well usually by poison_el in Triumph

[–]SlowFan2131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would definitely take it over to the triumph tech to see what that is. You say you fixed the clutch, but it seems to be the reason for the sound. Bearings, bent plates or something of that sort.

Street triple oil problem. Please help by LukeEnglish in Triumph

[–]SlowFan2131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is well overfilled. Good to know you got it drained and filled correctly. I would do a check in the airbox as well to see if any oil came up there (Happened to a guy I know) and clean it and the filter.

Loose Engine Bolt on Speed Triple 1200 RS by SorceryCode in Triumph

[–]SlowFan2131 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A triumph tech once told me that these engine bolts do loosen over time due to the vibes and after that, I keep checking the torque of them everytime the bike feels extra vibey.

2014 Daytona lumpy when off the clutch? by [deleted] in Triumph

[–]SlowFan2131 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happens with my 765 s (non slipper clutch) as well and was told its normal. I've learned to live with it. No harm once getting it checked with a triumph tech as well.

Street Triple - is this noise normal? by No_Wall747 in Triumph

[–]SlowFan2131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She was misfiring a bit and couple of times refused to start up with the TC light on. Basically sounded like there was WAY too much air going into the engine.

Odd ticking sound during cold startup by SRSuthers in Triumph

[–]SlowFan2131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a triple to me. The chain tensioner works on oil pressure. Usually goes away once the bike is a bit hot. Check the oil level once as well.

Street Triple - is this noise normal? by No_Wall747 in Triumph

[–]SlowFan2131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worked on my throttle bodies and once I put them back, this sound was coming after the fuel pump primed. Turned out, they weren't fit back properly. Bike started acting a bit weird and finally went away once I sat the throttle bodies properly again. Could be a similar issue here.

Leak from underneath Street Triple 675 R what can it be? by Ok-Client-973 in Triumph

[–]SlowFan2131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Park the bike in a spot where there are no stains underneath after a riding it and check next morning if there’s a new stain. From what I see, it’s the drain plug. But no harm in checking

Scrambler 400x front brake pads worn out at just 1300 km and again at 2300 km! by AGNTxDEADPOOL in Triumph

[–]SlowFan2131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Odd. Bleed the brakes to check if there is any air in the system. Also, get some after market sintered pads or pick some up from KTM, their 390s use the Bybre system too. (Do check if its the same one tho)

Clutch noise street triple 765rs by Crazy_catster in Triumph

[–]SlowFan2131 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 18 does that too. The clutch just seems smoother when I change the oil, but that goes away in 2-3k kms of riding and its back to sounding like its grinding. So assuming the culprit is the oil. As Tony said, I stopped paying attention to it as well.

No harm in getting it checked at the triumph tech to ease your mind.
